  1. I'm not sure how Denver/NE sniffs a total of 51 either.... 30-17? Still 4 Under.
  2. 2 -2 Nice
  3. See, Frank's just misunderstood. :31-:48 is amazing.
  4. Well, that's pretty much the most important thing in this evaluation.
  5. Seriously, do people really care that much if Wood comes back? Why on earth would he want to play for a team that has pretty much no chance of winning?
  6. Already got my Over in on Lions/Saints, 58.5 :) edit: Also took the Broncs +9 raw
  7. How much fatter has he gotten?
  8. I've never understood how someone could like college more than the NFL.
  9. Never understood how he was qualified to coach an NFL QB.
  10. No way -- you don't fire Angelo and promote basically the same person. I'd have to think he's next out the door.
  11. I got my playoff team last night (3rd pick/8) Brady Alex Smith Welker Ahmad Bradshaw Akers J. Finley B. Jacobs Tebow TJ Yates Kuhn Devery Henderson Pretty happy with that squad other than I only have 5 guys playing this week. QB's easily score the most points in our league so I'm glad I have 4, even if 2 (or 3) suck. I should have a good chance if the Pats make the Super Bowl
  12. But when? He made so many bad passes out of the corner tonight. Talent is there, decision making is not. Also, Sam Maniscalco has to be one of the slowest guards I have EVER seen play. He runs like an oompa loompa. http://girlsweat.files.wordpress.com/2011/07/oompaloompa1.png
  13. 2 onside kick recoveries for Purdue, kickoff return for Purdue. Jordan White 225+ yards receiving. Trick plays. Good stuff.
  14. Apparently players think "on fire" means making two 3's. I mean if I were a coach and you made 6, sure go ahead and take one. But my God, 2/3 from 3 does not give you the right to just start launching.
  15. Abrams has so much work to do on his ball handling and decision making.
  16. Wow, Rodney Williams could be one solid NBA player.
  17. Ok, let's see here. Also without looking at schedules: 1) Wisconsin 2) Ohio St. 3) Michigan St. 4) Indiana 5) Purdue 6) Illinois 7) Michigan 8) Northwestern 9) Minnesota 10) Nebraska 11) Iowa 12) Penn St. The key to winning the Big Ten is winning on the road and experience. I'm going with Wisconsin because they are almost automatic at home and would need only 1-2 good road wins to take the conference and if Sullinger goes down Ohio St. could be looking at 4th. Also heard that MSU could be only 2 point favorites at home tomorrow vs. Indiana. Is that possible??
  18. :good: Liked this trade as Marshall for Wood, now I REALLY like.
  19. I couldn't believe the line was only 6 for this game. The Colts have been pretty decent against the run overall, but they simply have no idea how to stop the Houston running game. Arian Foster is probably going to win many people their fantasy leagues. Well, maybe that was why the line was where it was. The Colts are trying their best to lose out on the number 1 pick (although if they lose to the Jaguars next week they should still have it). Somehow the Texans went 1-10 on 3rd downs which was the difference in the game. I don't believe for a second the Colts (i.e., Polian) don't know what they're doing in regards to the top pick. The Colts played Painter, surely knowing Orlovsky was a better option, right through the Panthers game (who had only two wins at the time and therefore were a contender for the top pick). Only once the Colts lost that game did they make a quarterback switch. From a front office prospective, the Colts won last week because they desperately did not want to finish 0-16. Last night night served as a send-off to multiple long-time Colts who may never wear the horseshoe again (Reggie Wayne, Gary Brackett, Jeff Saturday, Robert Mathis), without affecting the top-pick because the Colts, evidently, hold the tie-breakers. As for next week, I have a sneaking cynical suspicion that you'll see some Colts "injured" this week in practice. What a crock -- teams that lose on purpose should take an airplane dive.
  20. Was this a joke I missed along the way?? Was at the game today, totally brutal. Terrible shot selection, terrible finishing around the rim, beat to lose balls, dribbling at the top of the key, typical BS, etc. Definite boo-ing going on at the end of the game, not sure about firing chants or whatever. Today is certainly the last time I shell out $$ for this team at the UC, the crowd was awful, only 14,000 or so on hand and you could hear Weber's every girly yelp. Lol, no a brain cramp. Jabari. Lol. Ahh, OK. Anthony Parker, my HS classmate. Well I hope he didn't have to watch that crap either. Ha, true. Anthony Parker = the only NBA player who's sister could possibly beat him in 1 on 1.

  22. I'd make a hard push for Anthony Grant. I realize doing so costs us Jerrance, but I'd still do it. I don't want Mike Thomas anywhere near a basketball hire. Weber's not getting fired this year, its just not happening. However, I think Illinois is better than any Big Ten job except Indiana or MSU, especially with the renovated arena on the way. Every year he remains is another year we crawl further into mediocrity. I don't like Weber any more than either of you, however, we don't have the resources to can him. That's two major buy outs in one year that a first year AD would need the donors to buck up for. Mike Thomas' last basketball hire was Mick Cronin. I have no faith in him after he botched the football hiring. Was anyone else really bothered that he was at the basketball game instead of the volleyball match today? No -- and what makes you think the football hire was so bad? Who the hell wants that awful job?
