  1. I would just like to point out that, with this statement, you have just left yourself wide open for an inordinate amount of good-natured fun-poking. Can I exclude what I write on message boards? :D
  2. Is this a "Tribute to the 2006 Chicago Cubs" game for the Bears today?
  3. Looks like Demi Moore is really enjoying this game.
  4. Are the Bears going to run the ball this possession?
  5. I really don't think I could have any more man love for a player on an opposing team in any sport than I do for Matt Leinart.
  6. Do the Bears realize that it's still the first quarter and they're only down 7 points?
  7. Is that counting what ARam will make if he doesn't opt out?
  8. That's why Antrel Rolle is a CB.
  9. Why oh why didn't the Raiders draft Matt Leinart? UGH.
  10. My mom and grandma always tell me that I should have been an announcer. I keep telling them they I dont have the patience and the teams dont have the sensor equipment when I watch a game. I swear a lot. Besides, I throw stuff. FWIW, I swear a lot when watching games, but haven't come close to doing so when broadcasting high school football or doing radio show for the last year. I think our built-in sensors are better than you think. My built in sensor is good because I have to use it around my parents. I was talking more about making a racial or sexual joke that I don't think is inappropriate but a few people might because they have their panties in a bunch and then I would get fired for it. ETA: I definitely prefer the written word since I at least have a chance to edit myself to make sure I don't sound like a complete idiot.
  11. I love Kenny Mayne's 'stories'. That was awesome.

  14. Well, this just ruined my day.
  15. So is it for good this time?
  16. I've been drinking too much to figure out the ATS standings. If I'm not too hungover, I'll go over everything in the morning tomorrow.
  17. I couldn't agree more Derwood and I know I'm not the first one to say it, but you are brilliant. I like the system the way it is now. If a WC team can win two postseason series without homefield advantage, then they deserve to be in the World Series. And just because a team wins the Wild Card doesn't mean they are less worthy of being in the playoffs than some of the division winners.
  18. Welcome the white Dusty Baker. Ugh. Oh, and if the Cubs manage to be successful in 2007 it will not be because of Lou Piniella.
  19. And yet another reason why I couldn't be an announcer.
  20. 16 million for an .827 OPS? no thanks. For a clutch, Pennant Winning HR? Yes, Please. An .827 OPS in right field probably won't allow you to get to that situation in the first place. Umm... didn't exactly that just happen? Umm...Ordonez wasn't the reason the Tigers got to this situation.
  21. I don't think he's ever thrown 95. He's thrown 88-91 pretty much his whole career. The only red flag that Zito raises is the walks. That was a very Cub-like performance this year. Just imagine: Zito + Rothschild=160+K's, 120 BB Not true. The past few years Schmidt has been consistently clocked in the 94-96 range when healthy. I've watched my fair share of Giants games.
