  1. Go ahead with your Big East jabs but this game is hurting the Big 10 just at least as much (if not more) as it's helping the SEC. Like Arkansas and Tennessee helped the SEC v B10 cause. Well let's see, both Arkansas and Tennessee lost very close games that weren't decided until late. Let's run over what the Big 10's top 2 teams have done in the bowls: Michigan laid a complete egg and couldn't even visualize stopping USC's passing game. The front four of Michigan that was supposed to pressure Booty the whole game and not give him time to throw? One sack. OSU's been outgained 220-65. They've looked disorganized on offense and their Heisman Trophy winning QB is looking like he should be playing at a DII school. Meanwhile, it appears their defense is still in Columbus and didn't make the trip to Arizona. And don't forget these were the two teams that a lot of people thought were the best two teams in the nation after the game they played.
  2. How many deep are you right now? Beer or money wise? Beer.
  3. How many deep are you right now?
  4. Shouldn't have been high in the first place, but there you go. When a national-TV analyst (Alvarez) actually says that the key to stopping the other team's offense is forcing them to pass the ball with a Heisman-winning QB, maybe your NFL stock is a tad iffy. I completely agree. His stock was never going to get any higher than it was in the period after OSU beat Michigan and when he won the Heisman Trophy. It had nowhere to go but down and this game is only accelerating that fall.

  6. Do you see that thing falling from the sky?...is it a bird?...is it a plane?...NAY!! It's Troy Smith's draft stock.
  7. Tressel might as well challenge that. If you're willing to go for it on your own 29, you might as well challenge.
  8. Huge stop for the OSU defense.
  9. Ginn has returned.
  10. This thing is not over yet.
  11. OSU's offensive line is getting manhandled.
  12. Unbelievable right now.
  13. If so, that's the Cingular All-America POY, voted on completely by fans. There are more ND fans than any other school, so you do the math. I don't think that particular award is meant to be taken very seriously. It was the Cingular All-America POY.
  14. Ginn going to the locker room.
  15. I can't believe they upheld that.
  16. He looked like he was down short.
  17. Another Florida touchdown. Does anybody know where the OSU defense is?
  18. Note to Urban Meyer: Don't kick the ball to Ted Ginn.
  19. And Florida answers right back.
  20. Good spot there.
  21. Ginn returned the opening kick for a touchdown.
  22. Oh my lord, what a start.
  23. But hasn't the AP disaffiliated from the BCS since then? Does the NCAA recognize the AP polls at all at this point? The NCAA has recognized the AP since the 1930s, I'm sure we would have heard if they'd changed their mind. Yeah, the AP isn't affiliated with the BCS anymore with regards to the computer rankings but it's still recognized by the NCAA. ok, recognized, but with all of it's eggs in the BCS basket, the NCAA is more likely to disregard the AP if they decide Boise St. is #1, right? I guess the NCAA is more likely to disregard the AP poll Unless USC wins the AP poll and it makes for a better story that they're back to back champs. There are two problems with that argument. 1. USC was ranked #1 in both the AP and Coaches poll before the bowl games were played that year. 2. The AP poll was still part of the BCS when that took place.
  24. That from the same guy that turned in this performance.
