  1. He's got an ERA+ of infinity right now.
  2. And if he goes to TB he won't have to face Pujols this year. World Series. Somehow I don't see the Devil Rays making the postseason this year let alone the World Series. :D
  3. Shall we make this into the NHL Playoffs thread?
  4. And if he goes to TB he won't have to face Pujols this year.
  5. And the Sharks-Predators went to 2 OT's earlier. I wish I was watching this instead of working right now. Oh well.
  6. Made me think of this Warning: it has a lot of bad words. That's some good stuff.
  7. I'm assuming you mean the Champions League semifinals. Manchester United and Milan will play April 24 and May 2 while Chelsea and Liverpool will play April 25 and May 1. The final will be May 23.
  8. I predict today's lineup will score exactly 0 runs.
  9. It's this stuff that OFFICIALLY pisses me off. Great. Now we get 2 off-days, and they probably rescheduled it during a long game streak with no breaks. It should have been rescheduled for tommorow. End of story. This is stupid excecutive baseball. Well actually, if you had read the thread, July 12 is a Thursday and is the beginning of the second half of the year. The All Star break is July 9 - July 11 with the ASG on July 10. There are other games on July 12 also.
  10. Consider me wrong and surprised.
  11. Go back to GRB. :D
  12. Just wait for the first Yankees-Red Sox series. If ARod stinks it up then, the New York media will be all over him again.
  13. Yup. A goal there would have killed Bayern. Right now, one goal for Bayern and they're right back in it. I would be surprised if we don't see at least one more goal in this game. Bayern has nothing to lose at this point so they should attack relentlessly which will open up counterattacking opportunities for Milan. I would like to see Bayern score early to make the second half much more interesting.
  14. I never get tired of listening to Atmosphere so I voted other. As for the guys listed above, Nas is my favorite. Illmatic is just, from start to finish, an unbelievable record. I love that album. For whatever reason I never got into Jay-Z though his dis songs during his feud with Nas were just sick.
  15. Yup, the replay showed he was a bit offsides. Tough break for Bayern because that call could have gone either way. Bayern isn't done yet. They have shown the ability to score goals in the Champions League. If they can get a goal before halftime ore even in the beginning of the second half, they'll be in decent shape. Though it doesn't look good here.
  16. Bayern is in trouble now.
  17. I just realized that Oliver Kahn looks like Don Imus.
  18. Well that's for sure to jinx them. :? Well, the put it a good way, they don't have to win the game today to advance. Bayern goes on with a 0-0 or 1-1 tie. Yeah, what happens in a 2-2 tie? Shootout? Extra time, two 15 minute periods with no golden goal, and if it's still tied, then penalty kicks.
  19. Well that's for sure to jinx them. :? Well, to put it a good way, they don't have to win the game today to advance. Bayern goes on with a 0-0 or 1-1 tie.
  20. I would call Stanton a steal at this point. ESPN has him as the #3 QB in the draft and #49 overall. I'm high on Stanton (partly because I want the Raiders to draft him) but he is away from John L. Smith now.
  21. Bayern Munich - AC Milan will start in 15 minutes. EDIT: Bayern hasn't lost at home in the Champions League since November 2004.
  22. The good news: The Cubs won't lose today. The bad news: The Cubs just got swept at home by the Astros.
  23. Dusty taught him that.
  24. There's no going back for Afflalo this time. He's gotta stay in the draft this time.
  25. Argentinian soccer players, but it applies to Ginobili. Batistuta     Diego Simeone acted like a sniper put a bullet in his back when Beckham nudged him in 1998. But no one dives like an Italian soccer player. For the most part, all South American teams have mastered the art of diving. And lest we forget that wonderful dive by the Ghana player to give them a penatly kick against us in the World Cup.
