There was this big sporting event today, maybe you've heard of it... I hate football. Dont expect anything tomorrow, either.. with the Bulls game & all. The fact that it was on FOX didn't help. Only the people who lived in an area where FOX was showing the Cubs could watch the game. Most of us were stuck with Yanks-Sox and couldn't watch on the internet because MLB.TV was blacked out. Plus IIRC from last year, the Saturday threads were usually the shortest. Tomorrow will be much better.

I would think the best case scenario they envision has Pie adding more power and being the 5-6 hitter behind Lee and Ramirez(or splitting them up, whatever). Hopefully Lou has the sense to put Murton at the 2 spot when Theriot's BABIP fortune runs out. That would require Lou to actually start playing Murton on a regular basis.

So rather than criticize what he said, you call him gay -- interestingly enough, he's married. I guess you haven't surpassed the maturity level of questioning the sexuality of somebody you don't like. Would you have cared if he made a comment about him being Mormon? I would bet, not. Somehow there is a distinction between someones sexuality and their religion. Well Steve Young is Mormon so he would have been insulting Mormons then. Steve Young is not gay. There's a difference. You're obviously having difficulty realizing that.

Don't see why any team shouldn't take the whole time limit. If you know who you're going to pick, just go up and pick. They've been showing video of Olsen with a Bears hat on for a while now. Just announce the pick and lets move on.
