    Here are a couple other bad ones: Steve Trachsel in 2006: 4.97 ERA, 1.60 WHIP, 87 ERA+ Shawn Estes in 2005: 5.84 ERA, 1.62 WHIP, 86 ERA+ I stand corrected. Exhibits A, B and C that wins mean nothing. Yup, and there are probably a bunch of others but I just picked the most obvious example from 2005 and 2006.

    The Lakers I understand but how can you hate the Raiders? They've sucked for the last four years. It's like picking on a crippled kid.

    Gotta go with 04. I understand your argument for 03, Pinghitter, and those two years are far and away 1/2 on the list, but that 04 team was loaded with Ramirez there for a full year. Such a disappointment. EDIT: There's no reason that anybody in their right mind would vote for a year other than 03 or 04.

    Veal and EP would be too much in my opinion. Miggy has expierenced a severe decline in power and while he still puts up a good OBP, he is 31 and is going to decline in the field as well. He is due $13mil this year, in '08, and '09. Veal and another lower prospect would be more likely with us picking up Miggy's contract. They can have Ronny.

    ESPN just showed a graphic that showed Z's stats this year when being caught by Barrett and when not being caught by Barrett: With Barrett: 2-4, 7.58 ERA Without Barrett 5-1, 2.64 ERA

    as discussed in the minor league forum, after tonight Cedeno's AAA line: .329/.444/.500 with 3 HR, 16 BB/12 K in 82 AB. His line in June: .440/.563/.720/1.283 with 2 HR, 6 BB/1 K in 25 AB. he keeps this up another week or two, you have to call him up and give him another shot. Maybe he'll hit over .100 this time up.

    When ARam comes back I would move Murton to AAA solely so he gets regular playing time. Bring him back up when Jones is gone.

    I do not look forward to getting beat by you tomorrow Andy. It's funny it's LSU fan vs. N.D. fan. Too bad your team can't beat mine. :lol: Are we tomorrow already? I thought I was a 6 seed. (ETA: I guess not. Didn't realize I was ahead of so many) I wouldn't count yourself out yet. I've been known to ruffle feathers before. I won't pretend that the fact of this tournament being in June rather than, say, September doesn't help though. :D You probably would have been had we stuck to the 'top 64 posters' format. But when it was made as a signup only, a lot of people got bumped up. I think I went from a 5 to a 3.
