  1. Oh god Pickler was horrible last night. Thank goodness I didn't have to see that last night. Unfortunately, I had to see it tonight.
  2. Great hustle by Fontenot and now Hill with a hit.
  3. Thank you Cliff. Could have been better but could have been much worse.
  4. Small sample size. We all know the man has prodigous power. He's got five 30+ HR seasons and two with 45 HR. Yeah. Let's just ignore the 206 AB's he has this year. He's had a horrible two months. This isn't a bad two weeks we're looking at. His OPS does suck, but he has 10 HR this season after the one today, I believe. That he does. Still doesn't mean he hasn't been horrible this year.

  6. Sulley is making a comeback.
  7. I love giving up HR's to guys with a .674 OPS.
  8. I think that just hit him in the family jewels. EDIT: i.e. nothing serious like a groin injury.
  9. Amazing that the Cubs didn't get burned on that one.
  10. Thank goodness the Cubs finally sent Murton down. Now he'll actually get regular playing time.
  11. OH NOES!!! Tied at 46.
  12. Had to go with USSoccer. I like CFICT as he's a solid and intelligent poster but USSoccer is too. In that case, the Cubs fan gets the vote.
  13. Wow, I didn't know I was a dynasty. Thanks for the complement. :D
  14. I hope, for pure entertainment, that the wind is blowing out for that matchup.
  15. I might watch this depending on how my work goes.
  16. Well, good thing I didn't waste my time watching the first 7 innings and the last inning of this game.
  17. Good job by Verlander. Too bad the Cubs couldn't take advantage of it.
  18. He better not. He's not. Good.
  19. Thanks for the explanation. Let me just say, whether or not anybody thought I was implying this, that I don't think this is all on Barrett. Heck, it's probably mostly on Zambrano. If Z feels better, for whatever reason, with Hill/Soto/Blanco/whoever behind the plate instead of Barrett and puts up an ERA 5 runs better without Barrett than with him, then I'm all for giving Barrett the day off whenever Z pitches. The loss on offense will be much more than made up for by the better pitching.
