Except if it gets called at this point it's a suspended game. With the Cubs losing the full inning would have to be completed for it to be a final. That's not true. The Cardinals had the lead at the end of 6, and the Cardinals have the lead now. If the game is called, the game is over with the Cardinals winning 5-4 in 6 innings. I'm definitely not liking that rule. If the home team is losing they should get the same # of at-bats as the visiting team received. and we did. that's why they revert to the end of the 6th. I'm not talking about reverting back. The Cards got to bat in the top of the seventh so the Cubs should get to bat in the bottom of the inning. And I'm not just saying this because it would benefit the Cubs. The reverting back rule is lame.
