  1. No they don't, thats not the new rules. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=270627121 There's an example of a game shortened by rain this year. That's different. The home team (the Mets) was winning and the visiting team (the Cardinals) got an extra at-bat.
  2. I hope so. Saturday they waited just over an hour instead of calling the game in the 8th with the Cubs winning. They need to let this one play out as well. Plus didn't they wait almost 2 hours yesterday before officially calling the game?
  3. ^^ Bump? I asked this question in this thread and got the following response: Ah yes. Message Boards: The cornerstone of accuracy. I'm pretty sure a Cardinal fan isn't going to say a player on his own team of doing something if he didn't actually believe it. If you want to find out how CFICT knows, ask a question in that thread or send him a PM. But there is no reason not to believe him.
  4. Fun fact: The last place and second worst record in the NL Giants at 54-70 have a better ExWL at 61-63 than the first place and second best record in the NL Diamondbacks.

  6. Except if it gets called at this point it's a suspended game. With the Cubs losing the full inning would have to be completed for it to be a final. That's not true. The Cardinals had the lead at the end of 6, and the Cardinals have the lead now. If the game is called, the game is over with the Cardinals winning 5-4 in 6 innings. I'm definitely not liking that rule. If the home team is losing they should get the same # of at-bats as the visiting team received. and we did. that's why they revert to the end of the 6th. I'm not talking about reverting back. The Cards got to bat in the top of the seventh so the Cubs should get to bat in the bottom of the inning. And I'm not just saying this because it would benefit the Cubs. The reverting back rule is lame.

  9. Whoever is doing the graphics on CSN is asleep today. They had one out in an earlier inning when there were two and now they only show a runner on third. Ack, they just corrected it.
  10. Good eye by Murton. Kendall's gonna have to get the big hit.
  11. Great result swinging at the first pitch.
  12. Ward's swinging the bat well right now.
  13. Sweet!!! Now I get to see Z on Thursday instead of Marshall!!
  14. Alright Rammy!! 4-3 Cards. Come on Ward.
  15. DEROSA!!! Back-to-back and the game is tied.
