    lol 1 inning changes it from 20-19 to 8-7 We're Cubs' fans. You have to expect the extreme mood changes. I didn't say the Cubs were going to lose. I just don't think many more runs are going to be scored today.

    They both gave up 7 runs in less than 3 innings. I think we can call it a wash. Big runs in the first inning usually mean the pitcher stays in for at least a couple. I think it is different. Game should be nowhere close to being tied right now. Yeah, but that's because the Cubs should have done better last inning with the bases loaded and no outs. They did score twice, that's about average for a bases-loaded, no out situations. The second bases loaded situation they only got one run out of and it was after they already had a run in. Plus it was a gift from the Pirates as the Cubs couldn't even get a hit.

    Let the record show that I called it. Well, that proves that the only reason Lou started Monroe was because the Pirates had a lefty on the mound.

    I know they tied the game but it's pretty pathetic that our 1-2-3 hitters couldn't drive in a run with the bases loaded and no outs.

    I'm just glad it wasn't a DP. I'd take a DP in that situation as long as a run scores and ties the game. With 1 out? No, with Soriano up and no outs.
