They both gave up 7 runs in less than 3 innings. I think we can call it a wash. Big runs in the first inning usually mean the pitcher stays in for at least a couple. I think it is different. Game should be nowhere close to being tied right now. Yeah, but that's because the Cubs should have done better last inning with the bases loaded and no outs. They did score twice, that's about average for a bases-loaded, no out situations. The second bases loaded situation they only got one run out of and it was after they already had a run in. Plus it was a gift from the Pirates as the Cubs couldn't even get a hit.
