I'm with you. I know a title is a title and it really doesn't matter how many games they won during the season, but I love that they went into the season as favorites and more than lived up to it. I love that they were a 103 win juggernaut that just crushed teams and weren't a team that played decent, won 87 games, snuck in and got hot for a month. I wouldn't complain if they pulled a 2006 Cards because it's still a title, but I'm glad it went down like it did. And then we got the playoff highlights. Javy Game 1, Arrieta and KB in Game 3 (even though they lost), the comeback in Game 4, Miggy Game 1, breaking Kershaw's soul in Game 6, Schwarber's return and almost everything in Game 7. Not that Cleveland fans would have cared had they won the title, but up until the Davis HR, they didn't have any epic moments. They barely trailed during either of the first two series and didn't have a single comeback until Game 7. Their playoff highlights consisted of scoring a few early runs and having their starters pitch well enough to keep the lead through 5 or 6 before letting Miller and Allen pitch 3-4 innings.
