Probably should have kept Soler. Dude has a .961 OPS this year. Wait, that's in AAA. His MLB OPS is .520 and in just 102 PAs in 29 games, he's been worth -1.4 WAR.

what was so laughably bad about bunting there? seems marginal at best Down 2, extreme strikeout pitcher on the mound. I know Javy is a good hunter, but I'd rather see him try to just hit one out there. Extreme strikeout pitcher on the mound and extreme strikeout hitter. You know how that ends and you'd be bitching about the strikeout also.

And it was a slider that was breaking towards him and ended up over the middle of the plate. Did he think it was going to break 4 feet? It's not a lefty pitching where you think the ball is coming at you and breaks over the plate.
