  1. Shocked not shocked the guy will multiple TJS is hurt during a breakout season. Sounds like it's more Dodgers DL manipulation: [tweet] [/tweet]
  2. That's probably my favorite part. Posey not only doesn't even try to stop Harper from charging the mound, but he waits until both teams are basically at the mound before he even moves towards it. Definitely shows how he feels about Strickland and the HBP.
  3. I hope every player who hits a homer off Strickland for the rest of his career does a Bautista bat flip and takes a minute to round the bases all while staring Strickland down the entire time.
  4. Remember Marco4? He hasn't visited since 2014 but he's a Huddersfield Town supporter and they just got promoted to the EPL. First time in the top flight since 1970-72. So congrats to Huddersfield and to Marco. I always like it when a team that hasn't been to the top flight in a long time (if ever) makes it rather than cycling through the same few retreads.
  5. Reading the Verducci book and there's a couple sentences about a veteran riding a young player too hard for making mistakes. From everything we heard about him, it's definitely Ross, right? In all seriousness, 100% it's Lackey.
  6. Don't waste it on a guy in the last year of his contract. Let's go Russell fan or Schwarber fan. Good point. Either of those work for me. viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1427 Poll has been created. I added Contreras in there also.
  7. Pretty self explanatory. Heyward is somewhat fixed so it's time to use his powers for another player.
  8. Don't waste it on a guy in the last year of his contract. Let's go Russell fan or Schwarber fan. Good point. Either of those work for me.
  9. Since Heyward appears to be somewhat fixed, might be time for Heyward Fan to go with Arrieta Fan.
  10. I mean, didn't they sweep a four-game set in 2015? ETA: If I'm wrong, I apologize and did not intend to spread false info. That they did. Though I believe Ding Dong is referring to the last time we played the Giants, in the NLDS. That series in 2015 was awesome, though. It was basically the start of the Super Cubs. Took 3 of 4 in Chicago last year also.
  11. Brewers have a long way to go to catch up to the Giants. The Giants, particularly Krukow and Kuiper, claiming the Cubs intentionally took too long to get the tarp on the field during that 2014 game still takes the cake.
  12. What the horsefeathers is a Mac Williamson?
  13. Turns out, it's not just the first inning Lackey has trouble getting out of without giving up a run.
  14. Not a fan of Fox? Admittedly, I don't know a ton about these guys but Fox is projected to go top-5. What makes Lonzo a better prospect?
  15. After the Cousins trade, when I thought the Kings would tank, I thought for sure that the Kings would jump into the top-3 only to have to swap with Philly. The Kings haven't moved up in any of the recent lotteries (basically since they were good) so it would have been their luck that the one year they do jump up, they get bumped back down because of a pick swap they didn't need to include. Only ended up costing them two spots but it's still hilarious. Even more hilarious would be Lavar Ball's reaction if the Lakers passed on Lonzo at No. 2.
  16. Apparently even vascectomies can't prevent Antonio Cromartie from having kids. His wife is pregnant with their 6th child, which will be his 14th overall. It will be his 4th kid after having a vascectomy.
  17. Joey Gallo: .195/.313/.537 12 HR .222 BABIP 39.6 K% 1.3 fWAR/1.0 bWAR
  18. Just saw a replay of Leonard reinjuring his ankle. That was pretty cheap from Zaza.
  19. Still one of the best and craziest endings I've seen in sports. Plus the only time I've heard Martin Tyler lose his horsefeathers while announcing.
  20. Nice one Rizzo. I mean, Willy doesn't need to throw it 150 mph to first but Rizzo has to catch that.
  21. No Kawhi Leonard, no Tony Parker and you lose by 40 ast home in an elimination game. Way to show up, Houston.
  22. it's more like he predicts any game with a hint of a sprinkle in the forecast isn't going to get played...he does this for probably 30% of our games The only thing he predicts more is the Cubs losing after giving up an early run or two.
  23. Only 2 Rockies pitchers have even done that also. Jon Gray's 16K game last year and Brian Bohanon (career 5.19 ERA) in 1999.
