  1. No way Auburn is ahead of Wisconsin. I’m really surprised there’s isn’t more talk about them being playoff contenders. With just Minnesota and Michigan left on heir schedule, they have a strong chance of going into the title game undefeated. I don't either. The question was more if they think Georgia still has a better resume than Wisconsin, what do they do with Auburn? Auburn's got the extra loss but they also lost by 8 on the road to Clemson, a team that will be in the top-4, and lost by 4 at LSU so it's not like they lost to a 5-5 team. Wisconsin doesn't have a win against a team that's currently ranked. Georgia has Notre Dame and Miss St while Auburn has Miss St and Georgia. So if you want to rank Georgia ahead of Wisconsin, can you really rank Auburn behind a team that they just drilled by 23? That's why I think they take the easy way out and just put Wisconsin at 5.
  2. So the top-4 will be Bama, Clemson, OU and Miami. No idea after that and it will be interesting to see what they do. The committee hasn't shied away from putting a 1-loss team ahead of an undefeated team but I don't think they'll put a 2-loss Auburn ahead of Wisconsin. So then, how do they deal with Georgia and Auburn? I would guess they'll just put Wisconsin at 5 and the Georgia/Auburn stuff will sort itself out over the next three weeks (either Auburn beats Bama and there's a rematch in the SEC title game or Bama wins and Auburn drops out. The order of the rest of the two loss teams will also give us an idea of who gets in if multiple other teams slip up. Guessing Auburn will be the highest rated 2-loss followed by OSU.
  3. Love this headline. So if the Oklahoma player had been in a position to defend himself the TCU player wouldn't have been ejected?
  4. I'm not the first person to say so, but all the talk about Alabama and Georgia going 12-0 makes me think at least one is going down tomorrow. Looking pretty likely right now.
  5. Meh. Let then tank their season if they want Houston traded their first round pick to Cleveland to move up and select Watson and they traded their second round pick to Cleveland to get rid of Osweiler. They have nothing to tank for.
  6. With Washington's loss last night, we're down to 8 teams with 0 or 1 loss and we'll only end up with 6 max. TCU and OU play today and one of Miami/ND/Clemson will get to 2 losses also (if Miami loses today but win their other games they'll get Clemson in the ACC title game). We very easily could end up with a two loss team in the playoff.
  7. The Texans released McGloin today and signed Josh Johnson. Here are some facts about Josh Johnson: -He hasn't appeared in a game since the 2013 season. -He hasn't thrown a pass in a game since the 2011 season. -Since the Bengals released him after the 2013 season, he's been signed and released by the 49ers, Bengals, Jets, Colts, Bills, Ravens and Giants. -He has started five games in his career and has as many wins in the NFL as everyone who posts on this site combined. -He's a year and a half older than Colin Kaepernick. They're just not even trying anymore.
  8. But McGloin has moxie. Checkmate McGloin playoff starts in 2016: 1 Kap: 0 Obvious move They actually had the same number of playoff starts in 2016. McGloin sucked so much against Denver (6-11 for 21 yards) before getting hurt that the Raiders gave Connor Cook the first start of his career in the playoffs.
  9. Kaepernick adds another example to his lawsuit.
  10. Might as well add Harry Kane to that also. I don't know if conflicting is the right word but I know what you mean. I'm just enjoying it while it's happening. I know these couple years could be the best it gets for Tottenham but I think this is different from the Bale teams because Poch actually has a system. Redknapp's "roll the balls out and let them play" style isn't exactly a long term success plan. I'm hoping that they can qualify for the UCL again next year and that, plus this UCL run and the new stadium can convince Alli and Kane to stick it out at least another year.
  11. Dodgers had -a leadoff double and then 1st and 2nd with 1 out in the 1st -a leadoff single and then 1st and 2nd with 1 out in the 2nd -1st and 2nd with no out in the 3rd -1st and 2nd with 1 out in the 5th -1st and 2nd with no out in the 6th And all they got was 1 run out of that.
  12. Bellinger now with the record for most strikeouts in a postseason series, breaking Judge's mark. Of course, Judge only needed 5 games to do it.
  13. Fairly self explanatory. My wife and I were discussing this today so I was curious how other people do it.
  14. I went into the Champions League hoping Spurs would get second in their group and not really expecting a ton. Now they're a win away from winning the group.
  15. Not too surprising since it was two out and nobody on. Kershaw definitely shouldn't take his next AB though.
  16. Well you didn't get McCullers getting bombed but he was one or two hits away from it.
  17. Well, we'll get one more day of the Cubs being the defending champions at least.
  18. Of course Roberts has Morrow warming up first.
  19. I knew Morrow got lit up but I didn't realize he only threw 6 pitches to 4 batters. First pitch homer, first pitch single, second pitch double, second pitch homer.
  20. Sunny with a 100% chance of late arriving fans?
  21. Ethier had the ball in his glove as the runner was rounding third and was in short left and it wasn't even close at the plate.
  22. That was an epic game.
  23. Reminded me of Game 7 last year. Houston had the heart of the order up in the 9th and the Dodgers would have the heart of their order up in the 10th.
  24. [tweet] [/tweet] I wouldn't have blamed the guy on the right if he threw the other guy onto the field in response.
