    Dodgers won on Friday which means even though we can’t clinch the division with a win, we can eliminate the Cardinals from postseason contention. Get it done, Cubs.

    That’s the backup announcers, since their primary pbp and color guys got suspended for trying to strangle each other The one talking slowly is Kirk Gibson, I believe. He sounds half dead. EDIT: Didn’t know he has Parkinson’s.

    At least the Tigers are keeping it close enough to make them use Knebel and Hader. Hopefully Jeffrey’s has to go also. Probably won’t matter but at least there’s a chance.

    How hard is it to get a backup radio announcer who knows how to properly align the pitch of his/her voice to the importance of the play they are calling? It's been a problem for like the last 4 guys they've had. The worst was still Sirott though. His tone and intensity would change several times during the same call coomer is and was the worst no matter how bad zaidman is, i at least know what is going on because he doesn't call the plays like the listener can see them Coomer calls the plays like he’s listening to someone else call them game on the radio and then trying to do PBP off that.
