I mean the Brewers will go 24-10 to finish the season. Sure the Cubs could have played that well but it’s a valid excuse as is the Cubs never having an off day while I believe the Brewers had 5 the brewers had a red hot finish because they played a bunch of horsefeathers, non-trying teams as half of baseball is actively trying to lose. cubs played many of those same horsefeathers, non-trying teams. also the brewers whipped the cubs’ ass head to head. brewers played out of their minds for a month but if you end the season losing 4/7 at home to pirates and cardinals, it’s partially on you. Yes, part of it is on the Cubs. The problem is you, 17 Seconds and a couple others are acting like it’s some massive choke job. It’s not. They didn’t go 7-20 in September like the 2011 Red Sox or 9-18 in September like the 2011 Braves. They’ll go either 15-13 or 16-12. That’s not great but it’s not bad either. I don’t think anyone here is saying none of this is the Cubs fault. But by saying the Brewers got hot, we’re saying it’s not all the Cubs fault.
