  1. I think Michigan and whoever the 4 seed is gets absolutely throttled in the playoffs vs Georgia and Bama. The BIG sucks this year and Iowa really sucks. We’re getting a Bama-Georgia championship. I’d be pretty shocked if Bama and Georgia aren’t 2 point favorites in their first round games. Michigan's strength is running the ball. They won't be able to do that against Georgia. Georgia 30+ to 6. Georgia has better coaches and better players. Georgia's strength on defense will suffocate Michigan. It's not like Georgia's offense is all that great and Michigan's got a pretty solid defense. Held Ohio State to their second lowest point total of the season.
  2. 2 weeks ago I proposed the exact scenario that’s occurring. Now Georgia has to beat Bama, Houston over Cincinnati and one other result that I dont want to happen Michigan can win and we’d still have chaos in that scenario. Does Baylor actually get in? It’s probably them or Ohio St right? Can’t imagine the committee would want to run Bama-Georgia back again in a 1-4 matchup. Not like Bama’s resume is amazing.
  3. Boy did Oklahoma State sure blow that one. Earlier in the 4th quarter they have 1st and goal from inside the 1. Three runs, they don't get in and kick a FG to go down 5. Then the end of the game they have 1st and goal from the 2 and can't get in on 4 tries.
  4. Solid game from Taysom Hill.
  5. And Grizzlies are missing their best player. Box score: https://www.espn.com/nba/boxscore/_/gameId/401360154 The best +/- in the game for the Thunder was -18. The worst was -56 in only 24 minutes.
  6. Grizzlies beat the Thunder by 73 today. It’s the largest margin of victory in NBA history.
  7. Who leaves while their previous team is still alive for the CFP? Wouldn’t even be that crazy for them to make the playoff.
  8. I have a feeling this could be similar to the 2014 rankings where TCU dropped from 3rd to 6th despite winning their last game soundly. The committee was reluctant to put Cincinnati anywhere near the top initially until teams started losing. During that time Cincinnati hasn’t played any legit good teams and has looked shaky in a few of them. I bet they are itching to move them out if they have an excuse too. A 1 loss Oklahoma State team coming off back to back wins over top 10-15 teams would give it a strong reason to leapfrog Ok St over Cincinnati even if both teams win and even if Cincinnati beats a fringe top 25 team in Houston. I guess we’ll see The main difference is TCU beat a 2-10 Iowa State team that week whereas Cincinnati will play a good team. But you’re probably right that if Bama, Michigan and OkSt all win, Cincy is out.
  9. When flopping is so natural that it causes your own teammate to get sent off: [tweet] [/tweet]
  10. Only the top-4 teams in the EPL currently have a positive goal differential. Arsenal is 5th at -2. There are three other teams (Wolves, Brentford and Palace) with a GD of 0.
  11. So we've got: IN: Georgia FOR SURE IN WITH A WIN: Michigan and Alabama IN FOR SURE WITH A WIN AND A BAMA LOSS: Ok St and Cincy NEEDS TWO OF THE ABOVE BESIDES GEORGIA TO LOSE: Notre Dame Rankings this week will give us a good idea on who has the upper hand between Oklahoma State and Cincy and ultimately it will probably come down to next week. If one team wins big and the other wins close, the team winning big probably gets in. If they both win by similar scores, it will probably go to whoever is ranked higher on Tuesday.
  12. I can’t wait to see which QB the Jets draft at No 4 in the 2024 or 2025 NFL drafts!
  13. Off the top of my head without looking everything up Cincy is out because they lost to Houston and didn’t win their conference. MSU is out because they lost to OSU by 49. Oregon is out because they lost by 31 to Utah and to an 3-9 Stanford team. Have to look at the rest later.
  14. They'll somehow be ranked above Cincy and Michigan again Michigan probably didn’t deserve to be ranked above them but I wouldn’t be surprised if they jump Bama. Beating OSU was a better win than what Bama had and their loss is better. Cincy is fine at 4. I’ve said it before but the Bama thing will work itself out. Either they beat Georgia and they deserve to be in or they lose and they drop behind Cincy. Same goes for Michigan if they’re still behind Bama this week.
  15. Throw the records out the window! But yeah, can usually bank on it at least being a good game.
  16. Alternative scenario for when Bama wins this game: Georgia beats Bama Michigan loses the Big 10 title game The winner of OU/OSU loses next week Then you’ve got undefeated Georgia, 1 loss Notre Dame, undefeated Cincy and a shitload of 2 loss teams. Or Bama wins but Cincy loses so you basically have the same scenario since Bama would be in but Cincy would be out.
  17. So for maximum chaos… Bama beats Georgia Michigan loses the Big 10 title game The winner of OU/OSU loses next week Then you’ve got 1 loss Georgia, 1 loss Notre Dame, undefeated Cincy and a shitload of 2 loss teams. Could even have Cincy lose also.
  18. I said it last week. This is not the same BAMA team, especially at WR. Georgia should be favored by 6 or 7 next week. Their Oline seems shaky also. Auburn has been getting plenty of pressure on Young.
  19. Those four teams work for me. Something different in the playoff. Alabama is losing the iron bowl currently. We may see a CFP without Bama, OSU and Clemson. I think at least 2 of those teams have been in every CFP except 1 Yep. Clemson missed only the first one and Bama missed in the 2019 season. You could also throw Oklahoma in there since they’ve made it four times also, same as OSU.
  20. Nah, odds are better it'd be Michigan vs Oklahoma State, and Georgia vs Cincinnati. Those four teams work for me. Something different in the playoff.
  21. That was an awful throw. Even if the dude who intercepted the ball wasn’t there, that pass probably wasn’t going to be completed.
  22. Some big time Trump vibes with this one. Dude can go fuck himself. [tweet] [/tweet]
  23. Guessing Bayern won’t be playing their first team though, especially since they play at Dortmund the Saturday before. Final game of the group in 2018-19, Spurs were tied with Inter and held the tiebreaker. Spurs played at Barcelona who had already locked up the group while Inter hosted PSV, who had nothing to play for. Spurs managed a draw while Inter couldn’t beat PSV and Spurs advanced. That’s not to say Barcelona is going to win or Benfica won’t win of course. Just that it’s not as tough for Barcelona as it seems.
  24. Huge help for Cincinnati, Notre Dame and 2 loss Alabama. Keeps Oklahoma State/Oklahoma winner alive too but would need chaos. But screw it lets have chaos: -Alabama loses to Auburn and Georgia -Cincinnati loses to Houston -Michigan beats OSU (lol) and then loses to Wisconsin -OK State beats OU and then loses to them next week in B12 championship game Who the heck besides Georgia and Notre Dame get in? Ohio State and Houston? Lol The winner of the Big 12 probably gets in depending on the scores (like if Oklahoma gets hammered next week and wins by 3 the week after, they might not get in). Then Ohio State I guess. Or Michigan still since they beat OSU.
  25. Well cross the Pac 12 out of the playoff picture.
