  1. Stupid Rams. Four fumbles and a missed FG. Solid work. Edit: maybe a bit premature.
  2. [tweet] [/tweet]
  3. Weird statistical quirk (not sure if that's the right thing to call it but whatever). Ajax is in second place in the Eredivisie, a point back of PSV, despite scoring 12 more goals than PSV and allowing 20 fewer goals than PSV. They've allowed four goals total in 19 matches this year yet somehow have only won 14 of 19 games, so more games where they didn't win than goals allowed.
  4. Came after a timeout also.
  5. Yep. Didn't like the move when it happened and it's played out about as poorly as could be expected. The fit never made sense. How much they gave up didn't make sense. They could have made the Buddy Hield trade and kept more assets (like KCP and Caruso). They could have gotten DeRozan, which would have been a much better fit. And yeah, sucks for Vogel that he's going to be the fall guy. It's a poorly constructed team. There's nothing he could have done to make this team a true contender. I know LeBron was hurt earlier and AD is out now but it's not like they were playing well with everyone healthy anyway.
  6. That tweet sums it up perfectly. Just an insane pass.
  7. Today I learned there was a country called Comoros.
  8. So no different than when he was here then.
  9. I think the 49ers have a good chance of knocking off GB Philly and the Raiders were the two weakest teams in the playoffs and they're out. I think every remaining team is capable of winning or losing to their opponent and it not be considered a huge upset. I think you misspelled Steelers there. I’d take the Raiders over them for sure. Regardless, just make it three worst teams and that covers it.
  10. Roethlisberger this year makes final year Peyton Manning look like a decent QB.
  11. Knew some reporter would find that stat.
  12. The Bills had 8 possessions in the game. They scored 7 touchdowns and on the 8th drive they took 3 knees to end the game. That’s wild. Something like that - scoring a TD literally every drive you try to - can’t possibly have happened before right?
  13. Is that true about unvaccinated players for other teams being able to play in New York? How does that work?
  14. I worded that post poorly and didn’t mean to make it sound like I didn’t enjoy the game. I just meant I didn’t think it was an instant classic like the other couple. But still a really fun game to watch. Regardless of whatever bets I had, I was getting pretty excited for Bama to get down to the red zone, figure out a way to punch it in and set up a massive 2 pt conversion and then either Georgia ball or OT. So the TAINT made for a pretty anticlimactic last minute of game time (which felt like 15 minutes of real time). But the most dominant defense in the country sealing the win with a pick 6 is pretty cool. I definitely had a couple “boy this is really going to hurt when Georgia blows this” thoughts on that last drive.
  15. Loved watching this game. I'll still take a future of QB duels going forward, but was so fun watching the linebackers from each team just get everything in the backfield while the safeties and DBs held down the secondary. Yeah, I love watching defenses cause chaos and there was a lot of that. Scoring wise obviously it wasn’t all that exciting especially in the first half. But I came away from this game thinking there are future NFL defensive studs on both teams. I worded that post poorly and didn’t mean to make it sound like I didn’t enjoy the game. I just meant I didn’t think it was an instant classic like the other couple. But still a really fun game to watch.
  16. Like you said, that’s the game. This was a fun game to watch and not just because I’m happy Bama didn’t win. I didn’t think I’d be investing my entire evening into it but it was worthwhile. Yep. Not an amazing game like those couple Bama-Clemson games when Watson was there or even the first Bama-Georgia game. But the game wasn’t over until there was less than a minute left.
  17. Georgia got lucky with the Metchie and Williams injuries but that’s a part of the game. They won’t care about that one bit.
  18. *googles Brian Flores* *sees skin color* *realizes why Flores didn’t get more time* To be fair, the GM in Miami is black as well and there was reportedly some issues with them getting along. Ah. Didn’t know about either of those things.

  20. I mean it makes zero logical sense why that changed things for LV. Have someone trying to argue with me on Twitter it signaled to LV that LA was playing to win, but how they used their TO is exactly the opposite of how you'd want to use them. They'd have to leave time or leave TO and they wouldn't have been in a position for either. Exactly. If the Chargers were trying to win and wanted time for a drive had the Raiders missed the FG, they wouldn’t have let 30 seconds run off the clock before calling the timeout. They would have called it immediately after the 2nd down play ended.
  21. Whats the risk of losing the playoffs against the gain of playing Cincy over KC. Yeah, that's a big difference to me. Raiders are in a virtual no lose situation there. I suppose they could have had the kick blocked and returned for a TD, but how many times does that happen during the year? If they're locked in to playing one team with a win or a tie, they might just let the clock run out.
  22. The bully finally got punched back and he doesn’t like the results.
  23. Unless I’m missing something, wouldn’t you have an issue if your junior circuit playoff champion didn’t automatically qualify for the senior circuit through the league?
  24. They kept Ole on far too long. Should have sacked him when they blew their UCL group last season. Isn’t Rangnick just the manager until the end of the year anyway and didn’t sign on long term or am I remembering that wrong? yea, right. but after 5 games now they are questioning him? I'm assuming it's just the media but it's ridiculous. Did they actually think he would come in and in 5 games solve all their problems? The problem is player evaluation in my opinion. They like shiny things more than soccer players. Oh for sure. They’ve got Rangnick for the rest of the year. No point in changing managers again this season. Just wait until after the year. I don’t think Ole was a good manager but I certainly don’t absolve the players either. A significant portion of the blame is on them and on who is bringing in the players.
