Could you imagine if the Cubs hired Piniella this yr, have a decent season say....88-74...who'se to say that when the Yanks fail to meet "The Boss" expectations, that Georgie would be come-a-callin' for Piniella next yr? I mean to Lou Piniella, the Cubs or the Yankees...there's no choice. So, if I am Jim Hendry I better do all the homework you can do on Piniella, or this hire (alledgedly) can be disasterous for Hendry, and may put a serious stench on his resume for the rest of his career. Think hard, Hendry, think awfully hard.
