  1. Uh oh, Jon is 4 points away from a free Big Mac.
  2. Yeah, Haeger seems like the best fit, I'm just never sure with knuckleballers.
  3. It's amusing to see Bob Toledo on the New Mexico sidelines.
  4. Forget ARod, I'd try to pry Miggy with the young talent. Masset is ready for the big leagues already, I think Danks needs another half season but he's certainly close.
  5. Wow, Joakim Noah is such a prick.
  6. I approve of all the Joakim Noah-bashing. :)
  7. Sweet, 92-55 is the final. :) Pac-10 play starts with the much improved WSU Cougars at Pauley on Thursday.
  8. I spent most of yesterday afternoon at work helping my manager find out how his Steelers could make the playoffs. It was so complicated that he had to print it out for the games this weekend.
  9. UCLA looks really freaking good. Wow...85-45 as of now. :) Nikola Dragovic is in for his first NCAA action after his suspension for playing with people who were paid.
  10. Danks is certainly a better prospect than Masset, if only because Masset projects as a reliever and Danks as a 2-3 starter. If both reach their potential, I think Danks will be far more valuable to the White Sox. Danks has always been young for his league, which is one of the main reasons he starts slowly after each promotion.
  11. Umm, wow. I think Michigan just gave up.
  12. Billy Ho! Never before heard that his FB was flat.
  13. The UCLA game is closer. Plus who doesn't want to see more of center Lorenzo Mata: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v177/Navinda/n2502719_32984146_3782-743821.jpg
  14. Please, you're not having fun watching this game? I sure am (outside of the fact that we aren't turning enough of our turnovers into points).
  15. My co-worker is at Pauley...I'm so jealous. :x
  16. No Cubs players played in the DWL on Friday.

  19. Ceiling (you can teach delivery, movement, and command but not a fastball that touches 97 mph) and the fact that our system thins out so quickly after Pie, Veal, and EPatt. :( It's pretty sad when two of your draft picks (a 1st and 5th rounder) easily make your top 10 prospects list. Not just his great FB, but the way he picked up the finer points of throwing a changeup and seeing it improve so quickly shows a lot, imo. And I have the 1st, 5th and 11th rounders in my top-10 list.
  20. I'd be a happy man if I never had to see Joakim Noah celebrate again.

  23. Navegantes lose 3-1, box: SP A. Guzman 4.2 IP, 3 R, 1 ER, 3 H, 6 K/1 BB, E (1, throwing), 4 GO-4 FO - his error led to 2 R in 5th Leones beat the Tigres 1-0, box: SS R. Cedeño 0/3, K (26) C H. Blanco 1/3 Overall: Angel Guzman (Navegantes): 17.2 IP, 8 R, 6 ER, 14 H, 17 K/3 BB, 2 HR, 3.06 ERA, 0.96 WHIP, 16 GO-18 FO Ronny Cedeño (Tigres): 28/121, .231/.307/.314/.621, 1 HBP, 13 BB, 26 K, 2 HR, 4 2B, 0/5 SB, 4 E Henry Blanco (Leones): 34/165, .206/.274/.303/.577, 1 HBP, 16 BB, 22 K, 3 HR, 7 2B, 2/3 SB, 3 E
  24. Oof, Cal center DeVon Hardin is out for 2-3 months with a broken foot, should be a crushing blow to the Golden Bears. He and Ayinde Ubaka would have been as formidable as Leon Powe and Ubaka last season.
  25. Dixon is garbage too. Yeesh.
