In general, that has been his problem but that really wasn't evident today. Frandsen got a bloop hit ahead of the homer. It can happen to any pitcher. He finished off more hitters today than recent memory. 3.1 IP/ 4H / 2R / 2 ER/ 4SO/1 HR Yes, more hitters than in recent memory. But he's still not at 03 levels. The changeup would help a lot with that. Yeah. :(

According to AZ Phil, Jeff Samardzijapitched against the A's high-A minor leaguers on Thursday to the tune of 4 IP, 0 R, 6 H (3 IF singles, 1 broken-bat blooper), 1 K/0 BB and 9 GO to 2 FO. He had great command of a sinker and a slider and only threw 44 pitches in his 4 innings. -
FB (92-94 mph, topping out at 96), curve and a change.

Sorry - when I said players I'd prefer to McRoberts, I meant as any GM. I'd obviously prefer McRoberts to, say, Acie Law if I was Paxson.

I think he can be a solid role player - especially if he's teamed up with a big man who has a good inside game.

Hopefully we won't let you down, but KU is a better team. I also have 7 out of 8 Elite 8 teams - missed on Memphis (sadly, I had Texas A&M all the Final Four).

Prepare to be surprised. Not saying I agree with it, I vehemently don't, but everyone places him that high. Some guys I'd prefer to McRoberts: Greg Oden Kevin Durant Brendan Wright Al Horford Joakim Noah Corey Brewer Jeff Green Roy Hibbert Nick Young Acie Law IV Spencer Hawes Julian Wright (whoops, just saw snood's post) Brandon Rush There are a couple other players I'd consider before McRoberts too - especially since I expect a few of these guys to return. And I know some of the foreign guys like Jianlian and Splitter are considered lotto picks.

Way to represent the Pac-10, USC. :roll: At least this should (in theory) shut up all the Trojan fans (most of whom know fewer USC basketball players than I do).

At least it's red. It's a fantastic shirt. If the US plays Mexico in the final I'm finding some sort of anti-Tricolores shirt to wear. It needs to have some reference to 'dos a cero' in it, of course. http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=477415&page=12 That's freaking awesome. I need to get that shirt and walk around town. :)
