  1. Illiniguy and Derwood, both of you drop it.
  2. That was a brutal pass attempt by Falkner, he's gonna remember that for a while.
  3. Not completely. i still don't believe in refs deciding games. it's easy to say refs are calling against your team when you're biased for your team. same goes with people saying announcers hate their team. they only hear the bad things about their team and not the other I want KU to win. So how am I being biased? all i'm saying is that if SIU loses, it will be due to missed layups, not the refs and there's no guarantee they lose if KU keeps shooting free throws like the Illini (sorry, couldn't help myself) So the game wouldn't be different if they waved off Julian Wright's dunk in the first half and got the goaltending call when Tatum was fouled in the second half? In such a close game, that could have been the difference - SIU isn't afforded the chances that KU was. Meh, SIU has had plenty of chances tonight. Missing two layups at point blank off that one steal was probably the turning point against them. No doubt, but it's a different game if the refs make the right call on those two plays.

Come on Derwood. You could have helped yourself.

  7. My goodness, what a shot by Tatum.

  9. Not completely.
  10. I find it hard to believe Tatum didn't draw contact on that shot.
  11. Yikes, gotta take advantage of those fast breaks - especially when you had a clear tip-in chance too.
  12. How's that a foul?
  13. No. of Sports Emmy Award Nominations Gus Johnson: 1 Steve Stone: 0 Joe Morgan: 2 Should get Cancer Joe Morgan: 1 You: 1 Gus Johnson: 0 What is your problem?
  14. Did it? I didn't think so but I also did not get a good look at the replay. Is that something the refs can review during the timeout? Yeah, that replay confirmed that it hit the rim. It's a tough call to make, but the refs have made a few other bad calls in favor of KU (no shot clock violation on the Wright dunk, no goaltend). I highly doubt refs make calsl for or against teams in 99/100 situations (the 100th being every duke game) No doubt, but it seems like the breaks (ref calls) have gone in favor of KU.

  16. 3 times the refs have screw SIU and counting...it's as if they have money on KU or something. Geez.
  17. Ugh. It was nice seeing that 91 MPH reading come up over and over on Comcast. Guess the radar was just fast. I got the impression from others that the swings he was getting were from good velo and movement on his FB.
  18. Shoulda been goaltending.
  19. So many varying radar readings. It seems rather obvious based on the swings that he did get on his FB that it had good movement and velo - I doubt topping out at 89 would give him those swings.
  20. Yeah me too! Stupid ass econ exam. I HATE YOU ECON. I'd be careful with that kind of language around here... If it makes you feel better, it hates me too. It's too late. You already got Raisin going. My prediction for tonight: Tennessee wins by 9. To be fair, the Mizzou Economics department is a freaking mess. Aww, your loss. Good econ classes are awesome. :) /nerd

You already got Raisin going. My prediction for tonight: Tennessee wins by 9. I'm sure econ hates you too. Yeah, I think Tennessee can pull off the upset.
  22. Yeah me too! Stupid ass econ exam. I HATE YOU ECON. =; Don't hate econ.
  23. Wow, KU is struggling here. TAMU up 42-37 at the half.
  24. Wonder where the various radar readings are coming from.
