Aramis Ademan hit a monster HR apparently.

WTF?

I hope ol' CB and Laz Diaz get a really good case of diarrhea. And spend the whole time in the bathroom having to listen to the tomahawk chop on an endless loop.

Tseng with 6 Ks through 3 scoreless.

Duane Underwood Jr followed Hendricks with 3 perfect so far. 1 inning away...

5 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K, 63-43 pitches-strikes for Hendricks

Definitely. I think he was going to get rostered and called up in September even if he didn't get promoted to AAA.

Would be sexier if there was a DH.

I'm sure if the Cubs like him, they won't mind spending this type of money, even if it's an overpay. It's a chance to acquire oversloted draft talent like you used to be able to two CBAs ago: [tweet]https://twitter.com/hudsonbelinsky/status/887028446244818946[/tweet]

The Orioles. Britton has one more year of control after this. Despite the forearm injury, the trade package is going to have to rival the Chapman trade for the Orioles to move him.

Kinda shocked the Phillies won that.

No, because then the Brewers would also get them 19 times a season.

I have very little interest in what it should cost to get Gray considering his injuries.

That'll do, José. That'll do.

I'm amused at all the folks who talk about a Dodgers-Astros World Series as though the two best teams make the Series with any regularity.

My first thought too.

Carson Sands has been activated off the DL and will make his first South Bend start of the season today. ETA: He brought his wretched control with him from Arizona.

While Amaya flying into untouchable top 5-10 territory for some off ExST performance was hilarious, more funny for me as Paredes' pro numbers and lower minor numbers get skepticism from same crowd, I also see a below league average K rate by 2.5% and an IsoSLG solidly above the league average from an 18 YO C. He's doing alright, could be doing better but not [expletive] the bed or anything (it's actually .204/.243/.340 with 23 Ks in 111 today). OTOH Ademan is having an outright strong showing in the NWL. Oops. Guess MiLB.com most not have loaded up yesterday's stats when I looked at it.

Remember how fantastic Miguel Amaya was in extended? .375/.447/.613 in 94 PA with 9 BB and 2 Ks? Well, he's at .202/.243/.333 in 105 plate appearances with 6 BB and 21 Ks in the NWL.
