  1. Man, local radio in Southern California plays the horsefeathers out of RHCP. So horrible. (Same for Linkin Park, Blink-182 and Sublime. You'd never know there are good bands from here.)

  4. [tweet] [/tweet] Zagunis also left the game earlier. He fouled one off his foot and was in considerable pain, stayed in the game and even got on base but left after that half inning.

  13. Eh ... 22 innings of work, albeit excellent work ... if they decide to move him up, great, but I'm perfectly fine leaving Torrez at AA. Was he one of the guys we got from the DBacks for Tony whatshisface? No. Those were Erick Leal and Jesus Castillo (who was then traded to the Angels for Joe Smith).
  14. And it did. Hope the Cardinals enjoyed the week or two ahead of the Cubs in the standings.
  15. Shoulda sent Forsythe home on the errant throw by Molina. Worth the risk to walk it off, especially with Wong's second baseman arm.
  16. What a scary collision. No way Pederson doesn't have a concussion between Puig's elbow and the outfield wall.

  18. maybe he shouldn't have changed the signs so much so Kershaw didn't mistakenly think he called for the 2 base wild pitch I mean, it was a blockable pitch. Certainly a little awareness would've kept Grichuk to 1 base.
  19. Yasmani Grandal can horsefeathers off. Great defense, asshat.
  20. Lance Lynn, coming off TJS, just threw 123 pitches to get through 8.
