  2. Albertos was finally sent down to Mesa.
  3. Sounds like the Orioles are the only team that hasn’t committed a lot:
  4. The Dodgers are only 5.5 back despite being 7 below .500. I assume they’ll be in first by the 4th if July.
  5. Not sure if you were able to read that article since it’s subscriber but I did try to summarize it the post above yours. Sounds like the team that convinces Baltimore to part with their IFA funds might have the best chance.

  8. Nah. All the Cubs runs were awesome, not just the two in the 10th. Fowler's homer, Bryant's baserunning x 2, Contreras' double to RF, Báez knocking Kluber out by going opposite field and David Ross homering with 2 strikes off Andrew Miller.
  9. https://twitter.com/savermetrics/status/998401494792769536?s=21 Jacob Lopez is a LHP and Corbin Williams an OF, both from College of the Canyons (a junior college). Clay Owens is a catcher from Santiago HS. BA ranks him 442.
  10. You've got to send Albertos to Arizona at some point. This is painful for him.

  12. The DBacks have the 8th best record in the NL and are winning the division. Is 1-10 in their last 11 bad?
  13. True. The Diamondbacks had a chance to run away with the division and they’ve been horrible in May. The Dodgers have tied the Diamondbacks in RD.
  14. For your off-day viewing: Feel free to skip the 8th inning.
  15. Remember the good old days when the Dodgers were 10 below .500 and had the same record as the Marlins? They’re about to sweep the Nationals in DC and be 5 back of first place.
  16. It’s a different time zone, not the metric system. I'm hungover but I thought it was clear I was joking. Edit: If you were also joking my hangover made it hard to comprehend Yeah, I was trying to joke. Might be your hangover, or it might be that my joke wasn’t funny.
  17. If you have a shitty strike zone, you absolutely have to have thicker skin when you get called out for your [expletive].
  18. Yu since he came off the DL: 10 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, 5 BB, 12 K. Can’t believe he went 6 innings with under 100 pitches after that 39-pitch first.
  19. I was hoping for this too, but maybe in the eastern time zone the 7th inning is the 5th or something. It’s a different time zone, not the metric system.
  20. Yeah, anecdotally, it feels like he struggles more going to the right.
  21. That’s as egregious as you’ll see a lean in and they didn’t even bother talking about it.
