    Beyond the Ademan and Velazquez tripled mentioned by Tom above, Amaya also had a double too (all 3 were playing for AA due to call ups for the big league split squad game). But: The starters: Tennessee - Duncan Robinson: 2.2 IP, 5 H, 2 R (2 ER), 0 BB, 2 K, 1 GIDP, 4/0 GO/AO, 44 pitches (29 strikes) Iowa - Trevor Clifton: 2.1 IP, 4 H, 2 R (2 ER), 1 BB, 4 K, 0/3 GO/AO, 50 pitches (34 strikes)

    Adbert Alzolay, Oscar de la Cruz and Duane Underwood Jr were optioned to AA while Craig Brooks, David Garner, Tom Hatch, Alberto Baldonado, Daniel Camarena, Michael Roth, Ian Rice, Jason Vosler, Charcer Burks and Bijan Rademacher were all reassigned to AAA in minor league camp, per Arizona Phil.

    Stay healthy and this guy is a serious 1-1 candidate. Stuff, skills, pro size, skills, stuff, and skills...The first time I saw him he reminded me alot of Brandon Morrow coming out of school with, again, a way better skillset as a SP. He's the Jon Gray to Singer's early fallen Appel.

    Well, Tommy, maybe if you weren't hot garbage until you turned 29 you would've earned more money based on your performance history, ya dingus. Or the Cardinals could be less cheap with pre-arb players (like the Cubs). The Cardinals are being cheap and trying to pat themselves on the back for being generous.

    BA just ranked him #60 in their top 100 overall prospects.

    If you don't want to go the pitcher route, I can see it. He has a lot of the tools you want, the power has improved and he had a great summer against good competition. I still think a pitcher will go 1.1: Not enough power bats and a lot more high end pitching options - a couple will survive attrition.

    Yeah, I'm kind of hoping one of Isaiah Wynn, Will Hernandez, Billy Price or James Daniels falls to the second round. Have to address OL somewhere this year, but would love to try and attack defense with the top 10 pick.
