  3. What’s the point of replay if they’re not going to get calls right?
  4. Hitting and running with guys who are struggling to make contact is dumb. Also, Bryant was clearly safe.

  12. The players don’t need mental breaks. The players are mentally atrong. FFS, they came back from a 3-1 deficit against Cleveland and still won after blowing a 4-run lead in Game 7. But 2 shutouts in the first week of the season has them shook? Certain fans definitely need a mental break though.
  13. https://www.thecubreporter.com/04032018/oscar-de-la-cruz-goes-six-strong-riverview Oscar de la Cruz’ final tuneup before the regular season: 6.0 IP, 3 H, 1 R (0 ER), 0 BB, 5 K, 2 WP, 2/9 GO/AO, 78 pitches (56 strikes) I’ll get Thursday’s opening day game thread up Wednesday evening.
  14. The Vaunted Brewers should help jump start the Cubs offense these next 4 games They better because the genius Jesse Rogers says it’s a must win series.
  15. Alzolay had a minor leg injury that held him back. The cubs haven’t decided if he’ll go to Tennessee or Iowa when he’s ready.
  16. Myrtle Beach is playing an exhibition game right now wiring asked Lange on the mound.
  17. The SI article was really good.
  18. Tennessee’s roster is out too: https://www.milb.com/smokies/news/smokies-release-initial-2018-roster/c-270632528 Mekkes, Norwood and Stinnett in the bullpen. Charcer Burks is repeating AA.
  19. Myrtle Beach’s roster: https://atmilb.com/2JhlQuz 6 top 30 prospects on the roster: Alex Lange, Bryan Hudson, Keegan Thompson, Aramis Ademan, DJ Wilson and Wladimir Galindo. No Erling Moreno. Since Moreno didn’t make a full season roster, I guess we can assume he’s hurt again.
