    My astronomy professor probably won't, being as she's Indian. But I'll skip class anyway. Now if Angel Guzman was making his cricket debut against Pakistan, she wouldn't be there... You have offended 0.1% of NSBB posters (and 50% of NSBB posts).

    Murton has definitely faced Olsen in the FSL in 2005. Abercrombie and Uggla should have faced Guzman in 2004 too.

    Fuld started slow last year, then tore it up the rest of the summer. Looks like he's doing the same this year....only his slow start was shorter than last years. I like it! I'm thinking that Daytona needs to play at 10:30am every day if Sam can keep up days like that! Seriously, though, he had a tough April/May last year because he was coming off of shoulder surgery he had after the college world series...that's why he didn't play in Boise in 2004. He hadn't played in a while, if I remember right. He has a lot of good baseball sense...*and* an econ degree from Stanford. A good head on the shoulders goes a long way, I think. :) Karen Centerfielders with econ degrees from Pac-10 schools are cool. 8)

    The reason I'd rather see Hill is that Guzman is still working off the rust from barely pitching the past 2 years. Pitching in the big leagues for the first time is a jump, and for someone working his way back from injury, it's even tougher.

    On the Peoria broadcast, they mentioned that Nancy Cartwright is from Dayton. Didn't know that. Kettering to be exact. Why were they talking about Nancy Cartwright? The game was in Dayton, so Nathan Baliva was mentioning all the famous Daytonians. You should check out the Chiefs sometime when they're in town - Donnie Veal pitches on Thursday. Believe it or not, Dayton Dragons tickets are really hard to get. Amusing since Nathan was just mentioning how few people they were at the game (might be because of the temps).

    4-0 Dayton on an error by Brandon Taylor which allows a run to score. They've now changed it to an RBI and a basehit, Yepez is now charged with his 3rd earned run of the game. Yepez through 5 IP: 4 R (3 ER), 7 H, 2/2, 3 WP

    Doesn't make any sense for Hill not to be part of the ML Cubs at this point. How he didn't get the nod over Guzman (pushed 1 day back instead of 3), I'll never know. I wonder if Guzman is up as a "show-me" in a trade scenario. Probably not. He's up there because of his potential. I wish it was Hill instead, I don't think Gooz is ready.

    Why is he unable to do that in the majors? who says he can't? he had more good innings than bad when he was up last year. Consistancy is the issue I guess. and sample size. And more negroes. Awesome. Haha.
