Maybe someone got their Cubs CF mixed up and the PTBNL is Kendrick. I kid. Interesting though that some cub.com posts a bogus rumor about being trade partners with the Angels and it turns out we already sent them a CF. -
So its shaping up to be: SP Zambrano Maddux Rusch Williams RP Dempster Howry Eyre Williamson Wuertz Ohman Wellymeyer (Maybe Ryu instead of Ohman?) C-Barrett C-Blanco 1B-Lee 2B-Walker 2B-Hairston 3B-Ramirez SS-Cedeno LF-Murton CF-Pierre RF-Jones Mabry OF/1B/3B Perez SS/2B Pagan Which leaves one spot for a position player. Grissom could be that guy, but we'd need to clear a spot on the 40 man for him, and apparently we already need to clearf one for Miller. Wellymeyer could get trader or just taken off and claimed on waivers, but at 40 men we would still need to clear another spot if we wanted Grissom AND Miller. They may be able to take Koronka off the 40 man and not lose him. The same could go with Aardsma. Otherwise it looks like Theriot could break camp with the big league team. Looking ahead to April 15, when we need a 5th starter, they could use Ryu if he is already with the team and no movement needed. At that time they could send back down Theriot for Marshall/Guzman/Hill and go with 12 pitchers. If Wellymeyer is on the team, I would thin he could be traded to clear a spot an still go with 11 pitchers. My guess would be Theriot goes down and we see the 12 man staff.

I think something like this would be better as an alternate. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v313/snetsrak43/cubbyalt.jpg

I created a yahoo league with some custom settings. Its a lot different than a normal league so check it out and see if you like it. I may be open to change in settings. Right now I have a draft set for March 18, but if enough people sign up soon we can change that. 16 team, roto ID- 191323 password- playball roster- C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, IF, IF, LF, CF, RF, OF, OF, Util, SP, SP, SP, SP, RP, RP, RP, P, P, P, BN, DL, DL, DL, DL, DL stats- R, 2B, 3B, HR, RBI, SB, BB, TB, OBP, SLG, IP, W, CG, SHO, SV, K, ERA, WHIP, K/BB, K/9 I know most of you may need to conserve how many leagues you join, but if you need another come on and join.

I think they should keep the pinstipes and gray and search for a new alternate.
-
I believe I've seen even less than that Vance.
-
Is there an easy way to figure out the whole draft by order? Like it is simply listed on yahoo?
-
Marshall! :D AWESOME  anybody else dissapointed that they used Pie at leadoff though, plz don't make us compare him to corey more than we already do :( Dusty: Dude's fast. Gotta put him at the top of the order.
-
Da Dunn would be much sexier in a cubs jersey.

It's too bad I'm poor otherwise I'd take them. Actually I'm more cheap than poor.

Apolo Anton Soto? I'm not seeing the Apolo comparison. Really what makes him look so funny is cuz I think he waxes his eyebrows. They are prett perfectly sculpted. Add in the cleanly shaven face and it just looks a little funny. -
Well of the ones besides Wrigley that I've been to 1. U.S. Cellular Field

Aramis doesn't see like a salsa music guy. It will probably be something like rock, or latin pop music. -
Cubs front Office :Tejeda 3rd best in BB?
WrigleyField 22 replied to Neuby's topic in Chicago Cubs Talk
When I read this I read it as "Third Best in Walks" Cubs management might interpret his walk numbers as about third best. He doesn't get too many, so the bases can't get called clogged. Edit-I should clarify he actually does get a decent number of walks, certainly not elite though. -

is that a bobble? cut. No the ball made a terrible bounce that he retrieved and made a spectacular throw. -
I thought he would be. If not I'll drop him for Mackowak right away. I'm not too worried about my SP as much as RP. Whos likely to get the most AB b/t the following 2B/3B backups? Mackowiak Rich Aurillia Mike Lowell Tony Graffanino

Thanks for the lesson in good sportsmanship Lindsey Jacobellis!

Just completed my first draft... I'd like to hear what you think. Someone suggested that their just be a sticky thread where people can post their draft results. If you want to make this that tread mods, go ahead... 12 man- yahoo league... h,hr,rbi,sb,avg, obp, slg w,l,sv,k,era,whip,k/9,k/bb (other eligible pos. in parenthesis) C-Mauer 1B- Dunn(LF) 2B- Weeks 3B- Cabrera(LF) SS-Lugo LF- Bay(CF) CF- Edmonds RF-Tracy(1B) UTIL-Drew(RF,CF) BN-Barrett© BN-Greene(SS) BN-Conor Jackson(1B) SP-Willis SP-Haren RP-Hoffman RP-Jenks P-Blanton P-Vazquez P-McCarthy BN-Radke(SP) BN-Maddux(SP) I'm likely gonna trade Edmonds in a multiplayer deal for Armando Benitez. The biggest FA I have my eye on is Macowiak (I need a backup 2B,3B)

I have a suggestion. If you are East coast or central, time zone when you see stuff you shoud type in white or small so people on the west coast know its a spoiler. I'm central so it doesn't really matter to me, but... Go Shaun White! Small and white would probably be best.
