So? Isn't that the same crappy excuse Mixon had? So nothing. I'm just curious if there was any proof out there of that happening. Big strong dudes pushing and kicking women is horrific, but so is being a racist hateful piece of trash. If she did that, she sucks too. Again, I do not want Kareem Hunt anywhere near the Bears...I'm asking a question about something that is being discussed. "Just asking questions" is a dumb reason.

The story was he went into the gig ready to run the defense and much like Nagy gave him full control of the defense, he was going to trust Kubiak to run the offense. Now you have to wonder how many Bears assistants he will poach. You think he's gonna poach offensive coaches? Most likely none of the offensive coaches are poachable as they usually sign 2 year deals. Ragone would be the only one I'm not sure about. Defense will be more of a mixed bag as they came in different times. I think Donatell is the only one that confirmed as being out of contract? Now Nagy may let guys go for a true promotion to coordinator, but we shouldn't end up bleeding assistants.

Also I have my homer pick for the Bears Rd 3 pick already. Kid is a graduate of my high school Alma mater-will be the first ever NFL draft pick from the school. Three year starter (true Jr) . All American. Jim Thorpe finalist. All around secondary weapon. He's a CB so his combine testing will determine alot, but he has looks to have a lot of Rd3 projections on him right now. https://und.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=1606 Pace hasn't drafted a CB (unless you count Deiondre Hall as a tweener). Would love to see him make him the first!

No idea. I imagined a 3, or maybe that would require Howard plus a 5 or something. I'm not interested in any Howard trade that nets an equal pick swap, unless its a top 40 pick. There just isn't that much difference between a 5th and a 3rd to justify that. I'm m also more than good holding onto him and using his last cheap year then hopefully collecting a comp pick in 2021.

Howard looked like a pretty good fit the last few games... I'd be really curious if they could actually get trade value out of him though. Nagy clearly wants to spread the ball around to his various RB options.

It's a pretty limited tool, but Spotracs market value has him at 3/20 value. He could easily push 10 though if a team gets hot on him. He hasn't been a model of health, so 3/20 may be a decent range to stay at with him. I'd guess Massie (OT market usually sucks) and Amos will push that 7-10M number, but the S market is sometimes weird. Some type of creative backload scenario with some of these guys isn't out of the question if Pace wants to double down on the chips he's pushed in next year and deal with the fallout later. I recall NO frequently doing this in the past.

Yea, pretty much. I think Trevathan is too important. See if you can mold Joel Iyiegbuniwe another year (he has the right tools at least). The only reason Long is in the convo is health. If his salary was the difference in upgrading RT and keeping Callahan AND Amos, that would be basically the only argument. I doubt there is much of a RT upgrade that will actually be available though.
