  1. I don't know if it was *horrendous* 3 for 2 or 2 for 1 swaps in the mid rounds are probably bad value propositions in the mid rounds on a macro level. It's not great process driven drafting... Probably. At the end of the day you are trading for a player though, not a draft slot. Even if all you get from Montgomery is 4 years of good RB play on rookie value contract it's probably a good deal. We don't know how he was valued by the Bears. If he had a mid 2nd grade on him you can kind of work yourself into logic that it's slightly better value that it looks like on paper. FYI the traditional trade value chart seems to line up, so it seem relatively market value, though I tend to think that chart generally speaking values those mid round picks too far apart.
  2. Bears got a 6th back from NE. That's probably going to be a kicker. That actually makes me feel better (not the K part). Hate 3 for 1 trades once you get to the middle rounds.
  3. Gar's fingerprints are all over this pick IMO.
  4. 87(3rd), 162(5th), and a 4th in 2020.
  5. Traded up for David Montgomery. Looking for details of trade.
  6. Want Julian Love (biased, he went to my HS)
  7. Holy horsefeathers Jim Brown has no idea where he is or what year it is.

  9. I've hardly done any draft prep thus year. Who's the POS Maga guy so I know who to root against?
  10. Happy Draft Day you pancake-eating mother [expletive].
  11. He didn't even land on the plate.
  12. Gould and a pick for a slightly better pick. 5/6 swap?
  13. Good news Joe, no one watches 3+ hour stick and ball games 162 times a year because they might see a bat flip. That's what YouTube clips are for.
  14. This is good. We need a positivity thread to bump and use to tear him apart later.
  15. I know teams may keep varying levels of personnel on draft day... But lol
  16. That sentence sincerely makes zero sense. Do you need to collect your thoughts?
  17. Yes, that is indeed the point. So just fratbro then?
  18. I think of fratbro culture as being pretty hostile towards homosexuality (at least in the open, weird pledge horsefeathers obviously happens behind closed doors) Just caught me off guard.. But is the gay fratbro somehow worse than straight fratbro? Indubitably. He gets to be the absolute worst, most obnoxious version of more than one culture. This guy was alternating between countering the drunk ladyfriend's tales of shrimpy dink woe by bragging as loudly as possible about how his dude is rocking almost 10 inches and how he could handle it like a pro no matter how drunk he got, and then even more loudly trying to pick a fight with a guy down the aisle seemingly for having the audacity for getting out of his seat and having to pass by one time too many. Replacing 10 incher with "tight" or something and it seems equally obnoxious. But obviously I've way over analyzed this already. I'll see myself out. :hello:
  19. A fratbro who is gay. It seems pretty self-explanatory. I think of fratbro culture as being pretty hostile towards homosexuality (at least in the open, weird pledge horsefeathers obviously happens behind closed doors) Just caught me off guard.. But is the gay fratbro somehow worse than straight fratbro?
  20. If it was like a 10 RD, it would be a curiosity. As it stands it's 3 out of 10 on a coin flip type odds. Google tells me that probability is about 12%. lol - now do Milwaukee and their 8-3 record with a -1 RD 8%
  21. Are we really complaining about a 2 game pythageroeum vs actual record difference through 10 games? This team stinks and deserves to be 1-9. I don’t think it means we’re unlucky, I just think it’s a hilarious curiosity If it was like a 10 RD, it would be a curiosity. As it stands it's 3 out of 10 on a coin flip type odds. Google tells me that probability is about 12%.
