Overreaction/only two games into the season

Don't you "win" when you outscore your opponent? The Cubs were scoring more runs than they were giving up and losing an inordinate amount of one run games early in the season. -
Looked good and pretty flat to me. I could see the whole field pretty easily.

If your son is an Illinois resident they're not going to let him buy beer. I turned 21 over 2 months ago but was told at Wrigley that I couldn't buy beer because my ID says "Under 21 Until January 31, 2008". When I explained that it says UNTIL a date that has already passed, the manager told me that while "there was no denying" that I'm 21, it's the policy of the house not to sell to anyone who has "under 21 until" on their ID. It's probably the dumbest policy I've ever heard of -- in place no doubt to prevent the morons who check IDs from getting "confused". The result is that now I either need to go to the DMV to get a license that isn't expired, get someone to buy me beer, or use a fake -- which are never sniffed out. I'm guessing they did that because kids used to doctor the red IDs to make them look like they were over 21. My ex (and all her friends, actually), who was born in 84, used a red pen to fill in the number 4 so that it looked like a 1 (since the b-date is in white numbers on a red box). Viola, real fake ID that always worked, despite the fact that the ID still had the right "under 21 until" date on it. Probably only worked because they were girls. Anyway, zero tolerance on red IDs = none of that crap.

I'm just guessing but it's probably because Ryan Theriot has outperformed Ronny Cedeno at the major league level. Just a guess... If Theriot is just short of terrible, that makes Cedeno what - far short of terrible then? This is not a difficult argument. Ryan Theriot is a below average baseball player - we all know that. However, he is the best shortstop the Cubs have and better than Cedeno. LOL ya, it must mean nothing that Cedeno has outperformed Theriot everywhere else, and at a younger age. Theriot obviously just has what it takes to succeed at the major league level, while Ronny doesn't. Damn all those crazy minor league numbers that say Ronny is far better at baseball. It's a different game in the minors. They're not playing baseball. Or something.

I don't know I would probably still rather sit in the bleacher's. The atmosphere out there just kicks butt. I absolutely hate the bleachers. I've sat there maybe 4-5 times. It sucks having to get there incredibly early to get close up. It sucks having to wade through tons of people to get everywhere and hope that your spot is still there when you come back (particularly when you're there with a couple friends and a few of you get up to make a beer run). It sucks not being able to lean back at all. Everything about it sucks, except maybe the "atmosphere," which, while cool, isn't nearly enough to make up for all that other crap. /rant I'll take the Field Boxes or Upper Deck any day (just no Terrace Reserved, plz, they blow).
