  1. hahaha seriously? EDIT - This was directed at CC's post about Hawk
  2. They are down 3-1. I'm sure Hawk isn't even announcing. The frustrating part has to be losing to a Twin team that isn't all that good. Except the fact that Twins are a really good team. The are 2 games off their PYthagorean Record...So it's not as if they are flukes. Twins are a really good team, prolly better then the White Sox, who coincendentally are playing right were they should be. So don't underestimate the Twins. Neither one of them is very good.
  3. I'm not worried about Z. I am worried that Z might be worried about Z and suck as a result of it, though.
  4. Remember how Z suddenly gave up eleventy billion home runs in NLCS game one after giving up like -10 in the regular season? WTF was that about.
  5. They're not gonna face the Brewers in the second. And if they do, you should thank your lucky stars. And what on earth scares you so much about the Brewers over the Mets? The Mets have the second highest scoring offense in the NL. Why do people pretend like offense doesn't exist when talking playoff matchups? The Brewer rotation is also a mess after CC. Ive said this a million times. The Brewers are a very streaky team. One minute, their at the top of their game, practically unstoppable. Just when you they'll never lose again, they fall apart. Just when you think they're done for, they get back up and go on another hot streak. All they need is one of those hot streaks to carry them through October. Keep on saying it. They get hot when they face terrible teams. They lose when they face remotely decent ones. That's because they're not all that good.
  6. I think he has to be joking but I can't be sure because I don't remember much about his posts.
  7. I can't imagine what this place will be like if we fall behind at some point in a playoff game. 11-0 all the way!

  9. Yes. With Zambrano starting game three. Well, you'll likely get this exact same matchup again. and likely the same results lol you think it's likely he'll give up 5 runs in his first 3 innings? i'll take the under, wanna bet?
  10. lol zambrano is such a trainwreck mentally
  11. WCIU - the channel the game is on in the Chicago area
  12. You can get that picture in a GIF or jpg on the internets. Thank, I appreciate that, but a nice collection of the SI covers would look nice when mounted together. (The Soriano.Lou, This, The WS Champs). :-)) Don't forget... http://www.cubssuckclub.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/cubs-suck-sports-illustrated-kosuke-fukudome.jpg
  13. And some people -- no matter how bad the head coach is flushing their alma mater's/favorite university's basketball program down the toilet -- refuse to acknowledge the possibility that the head basketball coach is an abject failure. Stubborness prevails indeed. I have no idea what this reference is to but it seems like a sick burn. ohhhhh
  14. The "apparently" would definitely seem to imply that you're attributing it to the "pro-Cedeno" crowd.
  15. Damnit CubinNY!
  16. in a sexual manner
  17. the cover in and of itself in its entirety is arousing
  18. I don't care about any curse... that is damn sexy
  19. OK, wtf... I could swear I signed up for that list longer ago than that. Damnit.
  20. When I read "2000" it didn't seem like that long ago, and then I realized that it was 8 freaking years ago. Wow.
  21. This post makes me really sad. Like rubbing salt in wounds without even realizing it.
  22. Me too. Especially when I'm like #1,000,000 on the season ticket waiting list I am "only" #95,693 on the waiting list! In reality I'm more like 40ishk
  23. Must be nice. yeah, sitting home and not making any money is totally worth getting to see first round playoff baseball. :banghead: you take a lot of crap for it, but if i could find a wife who was able to provide enough money for me to live the way i want to live and was willing to let me stay at home... screw it, i'd be all over that.
