  1. Zambrano's line is pretty decieiving. He really didn't look that bad. Velocity was good, movement was good, and the location actually wasn't terrible. He was just barely missing and was not getting help from an atrocious umpire. He could very easily have only given up 1 or no runs. Thanks. Anyone have any idea about DeRo? Not too serious? Or are we concerned? day to day... probably could play tomorrow if these games mattered
  2. how would that happen? the mets just lost mets and brewers tied, though, i think
  3. what the hell was that sinking pitch from woody?
  4. a mets/brewers one game playoff would be awesome plus i'd love to see another one game playoff... last year's was an awesome way to ring in the playoff season
  5. i guess if howry already has a spot locked up, as many think, it was worth it... that was hilarious
  6. either that or a howry injury that only affects his ability to pitch.
  7. you gotta root for the mets to win here for the greater overall good
  8. i think he was safe but he needs to stop with those damn dives into first, wtf
  9. If the Cubs win then the Mets would be tied with the Phils in the loss collumn and also hold the tie breaker. Do you really want to face the Phillies? I think that would be the worst case scenario. I don't really care if the Brewers win, I'll take a Dodgers matchup. The way Myers has looked recently? Bring 'em on. Hamels feels like an automatic L. I don't feel like that about many pitchers, either.
  10. they may look inept right now, but their lineup is far scarier than any other we would have to face, other than maybe Philly... contrary to popular belief, offenses do matter in the postseason Sheets and Gallardo scare the Brewers right about now....
  11. lol theriot never screws up except when he throws balls into the outfield and doesn't score from second on doubles and stuff like that
  12. But his floor is Theriot's ceiling hey cool another guy making up stuff that wasn't said
  13. Ronny really does suck at bunting, tho.
  14. The umpiring isn't as bad as getting swept to a team who was 2.5 games behind with 6 games left to play. And Z forgot how to throw strikes again. I belive this is the post Red Flash was looking for. Other guy said that the Twins werent that good. This guy didn't even come close to saying they weren't good... fth?
  15. why? that's the beauty of these games... we can talk about whatever we want because they dont matter
  16. "not that good" and "not good" are nowhere near the same thing they're ALMOST opposites
  17. when people are putting down a team like the Twins as being "not good", I just naturally assume people are calling them a bad team. nobody said "not good" either what in the world is with all these made up "quotes"
  18. haha i win again calf strain for dero, not considered serious... might be in lineup tomorrow... day to day
  19. why are you putting "bad team" in quotes? who are you quoting? as far as i can tell, nobody called them that.
  20. They are down 3-1. I'm sure Hawk isn't even announcing. The frustrating part has to be losing to a Twin team that isn't all that good. Except the fact that Twins are a really good team. The are 2 games off their PYthagorean Record...So it's not as if they are flukes. Twins are a really good team, prolly better then the White Sox, who coincendentally are playing right were they should be. So don't underestimate the Twins. Neither one of them is very good. You're not 14-15 games over .500 because your "not good." The Twins are a good team with solid talent. I said they're not very good. They're a mid-high 80's win team. So are the White Sox.
