Knowing a few Red Sox fans, whether it's this year or not, it'll all be well worth it when it does happen. And if we keep spending like this and making the playoffs on a consistent basis, it will happen. Eventually.
Picked up a pair of terrace reserved infield to game 2 and my buddy got the same for game 6. Now Cobs, please win a game tomorrow to give me a little more hope that I might use them.
I still think those OH people had legit sources and really did hear what they heard. Hell, we even heard that BRob was told by his agent that he was traded at one point. I just think the clusterfreak with Angelos caused it all to mean nothing.
I don't see how the Cubs have three favorable pitching matchups in Games 3-4-5. Game 3, certainly, but that's a no brainer. Game 4 the Cubs would if the Dodgers throw Maddux but Lilly-Lowe isn't in our favor. Same goes for Billingsley-Dempster/Z in Game 5. It could be (we'll see how Billingsley does tonight) but right now it doesn't look like a matchup in the Cubs' favor. The history of starters who aren't CC Sabathia or Randy Johnson on short rest isn't exactly great.
Me fail English? Thats unpossible! /Just received B.A. in English /About to be laidoff from temp position /Lives at home /Liberal Arts, baby! Next step, law school!
I never read the papers after Cubs loses. No reason to... I'm anxious and nervous and I can't focus on anything else. So to quell that anxiety and nervousness you need to read about how we suck and how we're gonna choke again because we lost a game? I was searching for an article saying we're gonna be okay... well that WOULD be delusional ;)

Well, considering the fact that I considered the Angels the inferior team in that series and expected the Red Sox to advance, that doesn't hold that much water. But let's even it up tomorrow. Don't even want to think about tonight's game. Also... how the SOAPDROP did Manny hit that ball out?
Wow. PRIORITIES I was in high school in 2000 and stayed up all night to watch the opening day game in Japan. Sure, I was tired all day at school, but it's the Cubs.
