  1. Well, you could always toss the fact that they aren't winning back in their face. Peavy won't fix their offense. This.
  2. What a joke. Eff Hendry if this is the deal that get's done. That's like Marshall, Wells, and Fontenot. Eff Hendry for what exactly?
  3. Except as of right now he hasn't approved the trade and that's supposedly what this is all hanging on.
  4. I'd be ok with Murray, a bit less ok with Cusack, and wayyyy less OK with Belushi. I know they'd have no say in anything, but I don't need to see any more of Belushi associated with the team. Ugh.
  5. He's done that a few times this year, but since his numbers are fine people haven't complained. This.
  6. is there an apostrophe after mow? ](*,) ](*,)
  7. Yea, I didn't mean to sound argumentative.
  8. Except Rich Hill busted *after* panning out, so it's a little different. He went Ankiel/Wohlers on us. Pie was never really given a chance and it'll be interesting to see how this season turns out for him if he can get consistent at bats for the whole season. We'll see if his history of adjusting to the different levels after struggling badly early plays out in Baltimore.
  9. I've recently started going to Five Guys as it's now like 5 min from where I live, and it's freaking awesome. The fries are amazing and the burgers are very good. It's a tough call for me between them and In n out, as the only times I have it are when I go to Vegas. They're damn good but I'd need to have them more often to really form an opinion.
  10. The fairly strong possibility that Aramis's career is threatened by this injury (at least, his career as a very good everyday player, one of the top 3 or 4 at his position) wouldn't make you hesitant to let go your top prospect, who happens to be damn good and a 3B, in order to pick up a SP (or whatever other piece you'd theoretically and realistically be adding) who you probably don't even need to get into the playoffs?
  11. Would anyone be more reluctant to trade Vitters in, say, a Jake Peavy (or any other) deal given the possibility that this injury might greatly accelerate whatever timetable we had on Aramis's decline?
  12. July would be just in time for the deadline.
  13. Vitters has a .308/.348/.449 line so far this year. Wieters has not been called up. His line in AAA is .263/.366/.368. Thanks
  14. How IS Vitters doing this year anyway? And has Wieters been called up yet?
  15. wow... hughes talking like he really didn't know who azumah was it's not like it was a long time ago lol they thought he bowled professionally
  16. scales! lol ron just said that jake peavy was going to be a great addition to the bears.
  17. No real point to that post. I just felt like hating on those guys a little bit for whatever reason.
  18. I wouldn't mind starting a run like the Dodgers had in the early/mid 90's in terms of ROY awards. Here's the difference: Their minor league system was good. Ours is not. Meh. Mondesi, Nomo, and Holla didn't wind up being all that great. Karros was good but sort of meh as well.
  19. Gaudin? Gaudin isn't spanking anybody. 1 hit 1 run and a bunch of walks through 4. We should be doing better. like four or five balls to the warning track with runners on base he's extremely lucky to have that line
  20. Gaudin? Gaudin isn't spanking anybody.
