  1. I'm actually more pissed off right now than I was about the Cubs in the playoffs. At no point did I think the Cubs got screwed out of anything significantly in the playoffs. They just sucked. Despite the differences in expectations, I'm taking this a lot worse.
  2. I didn't see much out of line with the officiating when it came to Rondo. The problem is that Rose flat out can't guard him. Then I'm sorry, you're just blind. No disrespect intended... I'm still pissed off. It has been absolutely terrible. And Kendrick Perkins goes all game without a foul? My ass. Hell, he was doing his best to foul Rose on that putback. Sickening non-call.
  3. Nothing you can do when the officiating is this bad. Rondo has been getting the DWade treatment all series.
  4. I compared Johnny Knox combine numbers to that of one Eddie Royal and guess what...........it is scary have similar Johnny Knox and Royal really are. I think there's a chance that Johnny Knox can be to Cutler in Chicago as Royals was to Cutler in Denver. That's actually exactly along the lines of what I was thinking.
  5. If you watch this you'll probably get too excited over a 5th rounder.... But wow, it's exciting to think about what Cutler could help him turn into...
  6. No. How about we include our two first round picks in a package that nets Bosh or Amare? That's the best case scenario. Unless they resign, they should both be unrestricted FA's in 2010. Yeah but more than likely, they'll both be in play this offseason if they can't agree to an extension. Teams don't want to lose them for nothing. And neither one of them will be available for just draft picks. This team is starting to get very strong while still being young. There is a chance Gordon will be gone this off-season. Do we really want to give up more parts of this team to get a player that will be a FA in one more year? It's far more likely they work some kind of sign and trade this offseason than that they actually leave next offseason on their own.
  7. Don't ever doubt the awesomeness that is Rod Marinelli as a defensive line coach.
  8. Oh, that's right. Totally forgot about that trade.
  9. I must have missed something somewhere along the way. Why do we have two first rounders and what pick is the additional one?
  10. The 95-96 Bulls beat the Shaq and Penny Magic by ~40 points in one of their playoff games. I was there. It was awesome.
  11. Wow. 4 tickets, 4 meals for $50 on a Friday? That's giving it away.
  12. Prior to the injury? No. Right now. But I see you were speaking within the context of if he had never gotten hurt. That's a tricky way to look at it, though, because he may have just been a ticking time bomb.
  13. Falling off a cliff right now. He very possibly might never be the same again. Knee injuries, especially ones on guys who have a lot of mileage and years on them like KG, tend to do that to basketball careers.
  14. Yea. Garnett's career is in jeopardy. How the hell is he not considered to be in a decline at this point? He's likely falling off a cliff.
  15. They did. So Jordan could win it on Father's Day at home. Duh.
  16. And Kemp was an absolute beast.
  17. Nice job saying almost exactly what I just said. :D
  18. I think the 90s Bulls would have swept these Celtics, even with Garnett. With Garnett? I think that's pretty optimistic. They would've won, but not swept. Do you remember how teams like the Knicks and Pacers (and Jazz) gave us a hell of a time in the playoffs? The Celtics of last year > those Jazz teams, IMO.
  19. He said he heard a "pop" in the first half of yesterday's game. Had an injection at halftime.
  20. It wasn't the right decision, but him at the line vs. Rose wasn't the no-brainer everyone is trying to make it look like when they had virtually identical FT%ages this season.
  21. FWIW, Rose's free throw percentage was literally 0.5% higher than Tyrus's this season. That said, you're still better off with a guard having the ball and (potentially) having to take the ball up court there.
  22. just got back from the game :yahoo: :yahoo:
