  1. rondo yanked hinrich into the scorers table at the end of a play... hinrich ran up to him ... they were separated and it was called a T on Hinrich and a flagrant one on rondo

  3. Rondo is a piece of crap thug
  4. He was injured to the point that he needed stitches in his mouth and he got hit in the head. I'm sure the case could've been made that he wasn't unable to shoot.
  5. "That's just how it is" isn't exactly a strong argument.
  6. I already said that if the roles were reversed I'd obviously be glad it wasn't called but I wouldn't have a leg to stand on in an argument.
  7. Why? Because we're talking about bending rules and what should and shouldn't be allowed and the fighting in the NHL proves that the league is obviously pretty liberal when it comes to dirty play and those types of infractions.
  8. So if that foul had been called right, we would've even been able to pick our own free throw shooter. Sickening.
  9. so actually the officiating is very consistent then. Consistently inconsistent.
  10. Honestly, though, it's crazy to me that nothing has changed about officiating after the Donaghy scandal. For years, people have speculated that NBA games were officiated in ways to manipulate outcomes (admittedly, in favor of the 90's Bulls too)... lo and behold, there was evidence that it was all true, at least to some extent. That Kings/Lakers series was a joke. Despite that, games are still officiated inconsistently. Star players are still favored. Home teams are officiated differently than road teams. How is it that nothing changed?
  11. But I still love you SSR.
  12. At least Ben Gordon did that after hitting a huge shot. KG does it after.... sitting on the bench... or leaving the bench because he can't take it because he's too INTENSE... or... sitting on the bench some more.
  13. Randy Brown has blown all his money and is selling all three of his championship rings. http://www.mediatakeout.com/2009/32404-recession_special_former_chicago_bulls_superstar_is_broke__so_hes_selling_his_3_championship_rings_at_crackhead_prices.html Link might have some NWS stuff, so be careful.
  14. I'm pretty sure Perkins set enough moving screens to foul out last night, btw.
  15. Who knew when I was at GABP watching Woody blow the save and heard that Brady was out for the season, that that would ultimately result in the Bears getting Jay Cutler in a weird, but fairly directly related, sequence of events?
  16. How does Kendrick Perkins go without committing a foul in 48 minutes?
  17. Lots of irony here. 99% of the people who would say that was the correct call are Boston fans (the other 1% being Flames, apparently). Most impartial observers I've seen comment on it thus far (great scientific sample, I know) think it should've been called a flagrant, with the same caveat being mentioned here about how it's not gonna get called in that situation. Doesn't change the fact that the act itself should've been called a flagrant and that the situational crap is nonsense. If the situations were reversed and it were called correctly, I'd be pissed that it was called (obviously) but I wouldn't have a leg to stand on or an argument to make.
  18. I mean, we're not even talking about something borderline. That was a blatantly bad call and they had the benefit of replay.
  19. maybe, but that's how the game is officiated in real life. give me a break. what? you don't see that officials call the game differently in the last 10 seconds? sorry but that's just the way it works. That doesn't justify a damn thing. The fact that they may or may not do this crap consistently means that I can't complain about it?
  20. maybe, but that's how the game is officiated in real life. give me a break.
  21. was - meaning on the court. off the court he is and always has been a giant douchebag.
  22. http://a.espncdn.com/media/apphoto/660123bf-372c-492f-8c12-07784935a4ab.jpg Ugh... what a friggin c-bag
  23. And I'm surprised by that, because 5 hours ago, there's no way I would've thought I'd say something like that.
