    Does this actually mean anything? Or are you just making something up? What? Do you think I'm a spider or something? Of course I'm making it up! It's an educated guess based on the past. LOL, smart guy. I just was wondering if you had actually heard something or if by some chance you were at ST and saw the game live. I'm hoping for, but not expecting, a little better news than that. Bruce said his stuff was appreciably better, so we'll see what that means.

    But who are we taking there thats so important? Is Angelo spying someone a la the Devin Hester pick? It almost doesn't matter. Anyone you take at #6 is a big time talent. Of course, it could always be a bust... I really haven't followed the draft stuff up until now, not quite as interested in it after a Super Bowl season. Either way, I'd draft the best player available, assuming he isn't a RB. Did anyone hear Hub Arkush's comments that the Bears are looking to use Hester in a Reggie Bush role (slot, 3rd down back, decoy) next year? I know that they've confirmed they're looking at him on O for next year, but I had never seen his role defined to that extent. Hester as a 3rd down back is definitely a new one to me. He brought it up when talking about the Bears trading Jones.

    I'm surprised nobody is commenting on the Briggs trade rumor in here. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/6613558 BS? Is there a LB out there that we could draft that could even come close to replacing Briggs?

    What's stupid is leaving this injury prone guy on this team. He's always injured. Watch, he'll come back for 2 weeks and then go back on the DL again. And where exactly does that hurt us? The loss is not having Wood for the time he's out due to injury. Getting rid of him just for the sake of getting rid of him only exacerbates that problem by not having him at all.

    My thoughts exactly. I see this snippet as a negative, if anything. I'm still happy with what I've seen of Lou with the Cubs up till now, though.

    How about no to all of the above +1, except for the part about Prior Murton in a deal for Ichiro? Absolutely terrible move. Wuertz is not the 12th man, he's one of our better relievers. Is Coats making the team? Have I missed something? I thought the bench looked to be Ward, Theriot, Floyd, Blanco, & Cedeno... And hopefully, the Cubs are nowhere near the MLB lead in steals, because, more than likely, they'd also be among the leaders in CS.

    So how did Miller's STUFF look? Has he been getting lucky (i.e. giving up baserunners and then getting DPs, working into deep counts and then getting bailed out, etc.), or has his stuff actually looked good?

    Had mine for about 11 months. No problems. My games would freeze up now and then when I used to keep it vertical. Now I keep it horizontal and haven't had a freeze up in months. Also have used it very heavily as a DVD player.

    Sori doesn't wear Under Armour shoes. He wears Reebok shoes. It's Pie. Good call. I noticed it later, when I saw some action pics of him. I guess he just has a deal for arm bands, gloves, and undershirts... :)

    That was assuming injury and or poor performance by someone else that would send them to the DL or Iowa. Now that Cotts has been added, Wuertz has recovered, and Wood still has a shot to be on the active roster, there doesn't appear to be anymore room for Cherry (or Guzman). What does this mean? Has Cotts been assured a spot?

    I think it's Sori. Under Armor shoes (I know he did give some gear to Pie, but still), and the high socks. Plus, it just looks like him to me.
