I enjoyed that game. It was exciting. But I am so horsefeathers sick of the “keep politics out of sports” BS. It’s such bad faith BS. This horsefeathers administration (and its prominent supporters) injects itself into every corner of the sports and entertainment industry. They literally have to be front and center of horsefeathers everything. And then when people react negatively because they disagree with [pedophilia, ICE, trade wars, threats to annex sovereign countries, extrajudicial killings, genocide in Gaza, etc. etc. etc.], its always the people reacting that are making it about politics. congrats on being able to bury your head in the sand though.

I feel like most everyone I’ve read/heard has mentioned how thoroughly Canada outplayed the US. I woke up in time for the start of the 2nd and never once thought the game felt like the US was in a good spot, even when they were leading.

I was such a big Morez fan last year. Shame it didn’t work out after he stayed firm in his commitment for 3 years of high school. For someone that’s seen him play more than I have this year: how is Michigan using him? The story when he left is he wanted to shoot more than his role at Illinois was allowing him to. He lived in the circle last year. The FT% has skyrocketed this year, which indicates he’s been working on his shot a bit, but how has that translated to games? He’s not a factor beyond the arc, but I don’t think that was ever in the cards for him. Has he incorporated the midrange more?

I believe Rome, Caleb, and Burden will all be FAs the same year (taking as a given that Rome and of course Caleb’s options get picked up). It’ll be interesting to see how they navigate that.

honestly, and I’m biased because I was sitting in section 250 for the rams game and the Kmet catch happened right in front of me (i think my soul levitated 40 feet above my body when it happened), I wouldn’t change a thing if neither choice ends in a Super Bowl appearance.

For the record, I don’t like Matt Shaw for obvious reasons. But my inclination to trade him is for baseball reasons. I’d love to see them capitalize on his recent top prospects status and bring in a pitching prospect and then extend Hoerner. Love Nico’s game and I’m not ready to see him go.
