  1. What's the deal with Maurice Drew getting all this PT? Are they just running so much against Indy that they're rotating through to keep fresh?
  2. Bad News: Colorado almost won at Georgia last week A lot of the talent from the Barnett era is still there CU seems to be getting better each week Mason Crosby Good News: Home game, hopefully a Top 25 ranking and the start of conference season attracts a crowd CU still hasn't tasted victory, may be demoralized after last week's loss The 13 points Colorado scored last week was a season high, v. our D Our offense is struggling and still is putting up 30+ points a game Hopefully we'll get the ball and put up a quick lead like we've done in previous weeks. Colorado can't throw the ball and the crowd will get involved with an early advantage and with any hope they'll make a mistake and we jump on it.
  3. Tampa takes the lead, what the heck
  4. Ah, players trucking over photographers on the sideline, a timeless tradition of unintentional comedy.
  5. Wasn't Martz like beyond terrible with challenges?
  6. they tried to get to the line to spike it I'm pretty sure that was the FG team, I saw a white guy in the backfield and Muhammad and Berrian sprinting off the field.
  7. They tried to get the FG team out there?
  8. Time to start the Bruce Gradkowski chant. Either that or "Scrap the franchise".
  9. I'm going to be in a lot of trouble without TO and Julius. Houston letting Portis get a 30 yard TD run to end the half isn't helping things either. I need McNabb to throw about 5 TD's.
  10. Seriously, what the hell was that?? The only logical thing I heard is that it was the hands team on the field, so he was instructed to go down after he got as much as he could get, and then he screwed up and went down way too early.
  11. Tell yourself that..... Although our Offense looked like complete poo, our D is back, and REALLY good.... I about made that comment last week, but wanted to watch the Louisville game before I said anything. Our D is looking like the KSU of old. I hope it keeps going like it did today. We will dominate Big 12 offenses if so. Plus, pinkel likes to not put a good plan out vs the Cats! I was definitely not upset with today's performance on D.... Our offense does blow though. I say play Freeman and lets see what the kid can do. He does have a cannon from what I saw today. What was good about the defense today, the turnovers? I'm not trying to be argumentative, but looking at the boxscore(24 points, 400+ total yards, over 200 yards rushing, 69% completion percentage) it doesn't look like a terribly strong performance. Tangentially, I think Mizzou moved into the #1 spot in defensive YPG after today. [insert comment about how Mizzou's opponents have been garbage here]
  12. FWIW, I've enjoyed Iowa's return to football prominence, please beat the bloody crap out of O$U. EDIT: Gameday is quickly becoming the Ohio State traveling sideshow. They may end up doing close to half their games.
  13. regardless, there isn't a whole lot of reason to believe murton will be on base significantly more than soriano. What about Soriano's career .325 OBP? Or that this is the first year of his career with a .340+ OBP? and? how are you so sure murton will best .325 next year? or Soriano will regress? We were talking about probability, right? IMO the odds that Murton puts up a, say, .340 or better OBP are higher than Soriano's. that's your opinion, not probability. to make a statement that soriano will be on base less is not really based on fact. That's why I cited Soriano's career. The guy's put up a .340 OBP once(and only once during his minor league career when he was a 23 year old at AA), and the only time Murton has ever been below a .340 OBP was his 80 Daytona AB's. Even if you account for Murton's BABIP being high this year he's still supposed to be around .340+, and he's got age on his side(with regards to having room for improvement).

  15. Welcome DJaxx, I really hope you don't lose to me.

  17. So it was 16 points with 10 minutes left? Not quite as bad as blowing a 17 point lead with 8 minutes left to the Braylon Edwards band. And I bet Howard's not fond of MSU, considering he's a UM grad.
  18. I'm gonna go tell myself that Mizzou is 4-0 and that 7 of the 12 teams immediately in front of them lost today.
  19. How does the booth not review that?
  20. Time for Matt Trannon to be the new Charles Rogers
  21. Maybe now MSU will run an offensive play. Eerily reminiscient of the 17 point lead they blew against Michigan a year or two ago.
  22. Did Quinn audible into that?
  23. Because Bob Davie says so
