  1. Only an idiot would call Chip Carrey Joe Buck. Buck Martinez
  2. I can see the commercials you see, so I'd appreciate your review. Ellsbury K's, unbelievable
  3. What happened to the automatic ball for not pitching within 12 seconds?
  4. Especially if you walk the winning run to third anyway
  5. Isringhausen is a dummy, take the two outs
  6. haha, go home italy
  7. I wonder if Toni will try falling down before he takes his PK in an attempt to draw another one.
  8. Andy Gray has dropped any pretense of civility towards the referee, I think he may want to fight him afterwards.
  9. Please don't use language like that. Also, my interpretation is that mjohnson was agreeing with you more than he was calling you a flip-flopper.
  10. Torres looks like a HS girl, but he shoved Grosso and smacked him on the face a little bit, so he's cool with me. Poor David Villa, nothing can go right for him today.
  11. What a ridiculous save by Spain's keeper, wow
  12. Gray said it right. Those are easy foul calls if they weren't in/near the box, so he's afraid to do it. The Italians know it, so they just pack the box and swing away at the ankles of the Spanish.
  13. I didn't see yesterday's outing, but his problem against Tampa was his slider. He hit his spot(or very close to it) with the majority of his fastballs(personally, I think he was getting squeezed a bit), but the sliders were all over the place.
  14. I hate the Italians, what a joke that a dive like that draws a yellow.
  15. ahahaha Javier Vazquez in Interleague play as a member of the White Sox: 44 IP, 6.14 ERA
  16. Veal since April: 10 starts, 57 IP, 3.00 ERA, 1.33 WHIP, 5 HR, 48/28 K/BB Like Samardzija, one problem, although for Veal it's too many walks.
  17. He's going to hurt himself pretty seriously if he keeps pushing his recovery time for these ailments.
  18. Samardzija since he had a brief bullpen stint: 5 Starts, 27.1 IP, 2.66 ERA, 0.95 WHIP, 16/10 K/BB The K's are a bit low, but other than that it's pretty stellar.
  19. woo hoo i'm on record as being 100% behind this signing. (i checked because i legitimately didn't remember) I didn't remember either, check this ringing endorsement:
  20. I don't get it. Why would the Mods replace my original post with Cubbiebum's? Doesn't make any sense. The threads were merged, CubbieBum's came earlier so it's posts are first. Here's your post: viewtopic.php?p=1827372#p1827372
  21. Casey Coleman makes his Boise debut, working a hitless inning, walking and K'ing 1. And a single with another walk and K for Coleman in a scoreless second inning of work.
  22. David Macias is leading off in CF for Boise, and Flaherty is DHing as well.
  23. was just going to post this. let's not go overboard about his hitting, since he hasn't shown the ability to hit this well at other levels, but he's also fairly young for AA ball and is holding his own at that level. since catchers' bats develop late, it's certainly not out of the question that he could develop into a good enough hitter to start regularly at the big league level. it's looking like a pretty good bet that the combo of a decent bat with good defense can make him a solid backup. I wasn't trying to imply that Castillo has turned some Sotoian corner. His defense and age alone made him a Top 30 prospect, and if he starts taking walks like this, hitting for average like this, or hitting for power like this, he'll be quite valuable.
