I don't see why it matters. There's always a deal or two that's good, but all around it is a team stuck in nowhere land, perpetually looking 3 years down the road while delivering on nothing. Unloading every decent player they have, bring up the next batch, unload them too. If they ever hope to get out of nowhere land, this is the type of deal they need to make. Morgan is a decent player, but he's already 29, and his value is tied to a position that the Pirates have plenty of higher potential guys(McCutcheon, Tabata, Hernandez). Milledge may continue down his Pattersonian path, but he has the chance to break out and be a big producer they'd need if they're to turn it around. Also, Hanrahan is better than Burnett.
