    By the way, the Cubs are getting a joint-VSL team running this year with the Twinkies. Good to hear that we'll actually be having a team this year, but how will splitting a team with the Twins work? Will we each sign our own prospects and then play them together on the team?

    I know that this movement is more geared towards industry, but the political unrest in the country has already caused MLB teams to pull their developmental teams out of the VSL. If their government decides that they want all American influences out of their country and gets rid of all ties to American baseball, what effect do you think it would have?

    I heard on the radio a few minutes ago that the NBA is looking into a scuffle that supposedly happened between Jason Richardson and a fan. If they find anything, the radio guy said that a suspension would be handed down fairly quickly.

    The .304 was from 6 innings, though. But yeah, Berg has been awful this season. Berg's is quite bad, but his has only been in 12 IP. Mathes' is the most disturbing at .305 after 25 IP.

    Sweet jesus those BAA's are horrible. .304, .305, and .407? It looks like tomorrow might be BP for the other teams.

    That would be true except for the first high school player that Wilken drafted last year was in the 9th round.

    What is your take on Stanford's Michael Taylor? When I saw him a few days ago against Oregon St. he looked pretty good, but he seems to be a very streaky player that is getting hot right now.

    He was probably mouthing something to the official standing there in the lane and doing the clapping to mock him. I certainly hope he said something. Wouldn't surprise me if they didn't. Baron already got tossed from a game this series for just clapping. Go figure. Well Don Nelson just said that he is going to personally fine Jackson a "substantial amount" for being thrown out of the game again because he "obviously doesn't get it."

    I believe that Mephistopheles also said that because of signability, Russell would drop quite a bit since he is only a draft-eligible Sophomore. Bingo. He'll be there. He's similar to Micah Owings a few years back. Owings was an elite prospect that year, but he was a sophomore who demanded first round money so he fell to the 15th round. The same thing also happened for Tim Lincecum two years ago. He was a sophomore who demanded seven figs and the Tribe wouldnt budge. I would love to have his 1.349 OPS in our system, but he could really improve his strike zone judgment.

    The rule is only against representing rival companies of league sponsors at league events. I see...the commercial is kind of strange though. I never imagined Urlacher as a badminton player.

    Has anyone else seen Urlacher's new Vitaminwater commercial? I thought that the NFL told him he couldn't represent them anymore, but this is the first time I've seen the commercial.
