  1. Yeah, they have some momentum going (3 straight) and are pretty healthy for the most part. Only injury they really need to heal is Amukamara, and they should beat Miami without him if they played next Sunday. Hopefully, that extra time after the Thanksgiving games serves as a 2nd bye week type of situation.
  2. This is a 1pm EST game? LOL. I'm not getting anything done at work tomorrow. Kiss my ass Kim!
  3. My "prediction" on Facebook yesterday... Dead on. Every single word. Bucs have allowed a ton to slot WRs and TEs in the middle of the field. Juju Smith- 9/116 McDonald- 4/112, still about 75 yards without the stiff arm and run Ertz- 11/94 Agholor- 8/88 Week 1, Michael Thomas had 16/180, and while I don't know the totals from the slot, I did find that he was targeted 11 times from the slot. Corpse of Ben Watson also had 4/44. Burton breakout game should happen tomorrow. Also, call me crazy, but I'm predicting a surprise game for Josh Bellamy as a WR
  4. Almost 20 years ago? Isn't that exactly 20 years ago?
  5. There's also his 17 rushes for 117 yards, which would pace to 68/468. Mitch still looked a bit shakey at the start of the game, but basically was prime Aaron Rodgers after that first TD. I'm hoping that pass got the monkey off his back, restored his confidence and he's good to go from here on. Also, the line was amazing today, I hope they get their due credit. He had all day to throw against a terrible secondary. So many wide open throws, but him actually seeing them and making them is a huge step in the right direction.
  6. Game 16. Trubisky- 19-26, 354 yards, 6 TD, 0 INT, 154.65 Goff- 25-37, 355 yards, 3 TD, 0 INTs, 125.4 QB rating Wentz- 27-43, 245 yards, 2 TDs, 0 INT, 93.7 QB rating Clearly Mitch is the best of the group.
  7. Cubs 2nd half days off: July 30th- 12 games in previous 11 days, after being 1 of 2 teams not to get the extra day for the AS break Aug 9th- Aug 13th Aug 20th Sept 7th and 9th- did not play, but sat at the park for hours waiting to play games that never happened Sept 20th- exactly a month between off days, stretch included a double-header, flying from Chicago to DC back to Chicago in a day And now fittingly, they conceivably could have to play Monday and Tuesday before either getting 1 precious day off despite having the best record in the NL after 162 or having 6 months off, despite having the best record in the NFL after 162. At this point, it would be a spite championship.
  8. Nah, they'll be way better than that. They were a game better last year with a worse team and a stronger Eastern conference.
  9. Would prefer to do both today.
  10. Trubisky oddly enough has thrown the most deep passes (over 20 yards from LOS) in the league. I'm assuming he's pretty close to the top on throws within 5 yards of the LOS too, so grain of salt. Read a couple things today though that were not completely doom and gloom today.
  11. Kelce got hurt and they had, I think, a 16-point lead. Nagy has 4 games of bad play calling. Trubisky has 14 games of bad quarterbacking. So you think its because Nagy is trying to get Trubisky to take off? Hes throttled it back for/because of Mitch? Yes. No way to be sure. But it looks like Mitch isn't going beyond his 1st read. It seems like it's by design to make things easier for him, as he had multiple reads in the opener and early vs. Seattle.
  12. Did see this type of play calling in the playoff game in KC though. But I'm willing to put this on Mitch until proven otherwise. So Nagy has done this, we know he does this, but its not his fault? Why would he game plan like that in the playoffs? Is there a hole in his offense that he knows a good defense can exploit? Kelce got hurt and they had, I think, a 16-point lead. Nagy has 4 games of bad play calling. Trubisky has 14 games of bad quarterbacking.
  13. Don't know if this game is good or not. Don't know if I'm glad Tampa got knocked down a peg or if I wanted the Bears to face a seemingly unbeatable looking team. I'd much rather face Fitzpatrick than Winston. Winston has killed the Bears with his mobility in the past. For this pass rush, better off with a statuesque QB, as long as it's not Aaron Rodgers with an injured knee. Either way, Tampa is likely going to force the Bears to have to do something worthwhile on offense. The defense will make plays as usual, but Tampa will score. The opportunity for TRubisky will be there though, as they are bad on defense, especially in the secondary where losing Chris Conte tonight has been a big blow.
  14. Yea, but that (and the Brees one above) was like 20+ years ago. Passing stats should be up. The point was to answer rmack's assertion that quarterbacks don't perform poorly for their first 16 games and then reach their potential. Possibly the best quarterback ever had that very pattern. I hate to use this excuse, but Trubisky also has less experience than any of these QBs who have all pretty much universally struggled early on. I don't hate that excuse because it isn't valid, but I hate it because that's part of the argument to not have drafted him at #2.
  15. He has 27 completions behind the line of scrimmage. I don't know what came 1st, Nagy's playcalling restricting Trubisky or is Trubisky restricting Nagy? I'm pretty sure it's Trubiskys limitations. Did see this type of play calling in the playoff game in KC though. But I'm willing to put this on Mitch until proven otherwise.
  16. Not the only time that's happened to him.
  17. Trubisky is 10- 27, TD, INT on throws over 10 yards this year.
  18. Goff thru 15 games: 259-449, 3119 yards, 18 TD, 11 INT, 82.25 QB rating Wentz thru 15 games: 352-564, 3537 yards, 14 TD, 14 INT, 78.15 QB rating Trubisky thru 15 games: 268-434, 2784 yards, 9 TD, 10 INT, 77.6 QB rating Goff since: 220-334, 2715 yards, 21 TDs, 5 INT, 105.56 QB rating Wentz since: 317-520, 3796 yards, 36 TDs, 8 INT, 99.97 QB rating
  19. 2 today we're on Trevathan vs a TE and RB. Only other one was on Callahan. Are you only talking about today, because the first two weeks had some bad safety help, which led to some big plays. Talking about all season. Bad safety help isnt blown coverage, it's bad safety help.
  20. DBs had 3 picks and held a hall of fame WR to almost nothing. Entire unit is elite. Way too many broken coverages over 3 games to be elite, IMO. 2 today we're on Trevathan vs a TE and RB. Only other one was on Callahan.
  21. Front 7, maybe DBs had 3 picks and held a hall of fame WR to almost nothing. Entire unit is elite.
  22. I don't like this. Gotta rely on the defense (likely Mack) to come up with a big play again. How many can they have in them?
  23. Was the clock running low? Yeah, but the offense shouldn't have been out there anyway.
