  1. Nope. Nor was there a hold call on Floyd who was getting turned completely on that 3rd down incompletion.
  2. For anyone that follows me on social media, I apologize for repeating this, but just like the Ray Rice incident... I'm again so appalled that the NFL and the player's team knows there's a video of a player hitting a woman.....yet don't do anything about it until they are forced to because a video is released of the incident. I don't know why you need to see a video to know that "man hitting woman" = bad. Hotel- "Hey we had an incident this weekend where Kareem Hunt hit a woman in our hotel, captured by cameras" NFL/Chiefs- "OK, thanks for that info" TMZ- "We have video of Kareem Hunt hitting a woman in a hotel NFL/Chiefs watches video.....- "Oh we didn't know he HIT her, hit her" The fact that you can only change Chiefs to Ravens and this story is still probably 100% applies is absolutely sickening.
  3. It's Chase Daniel again on Sunday.
  4. You SHOULD be able to beat the Giants without Trubisky, but if you don't...... Things get dicey. If Mitch can play, though he should. With the Vikings tie and the Bears' 3 game lead on the WC, the last game is more likely to NOT to matter than it is to make a difference in playoffs or not. Good chance to sit Mitch week 17 if you win this one. With Daniel, this isn't a slam dunk on the road against a team that is playing better of late. Sent from my moto e5 supra using Tapatalk
  5. Obviously the personnel are better, but it's incredible how much of this is on the coaching staff. Nagy has practically taken this offense from the leather helmet era to being one of the 3-5 most progressive in the league. That gives me some hope that we'll be able to keep Vic Fangio on for next year. In a normal year, he'd be at or near the top of most prospective coach lists, and there's no way in hell we'd be able to retain him. But with the whole paradigm shift in the NFL right now, it may be tough to sell an owner on a 60 year old defensive coordinator, no matter how good. That is doubly so if you have a young QB or are going to need to draft one, which is basically all of the potential openings except the Packers and Lions. The Fangio getting a HC job thing has been going around again recently. And I've been pretty surprised by it, because yeah......I don't know how you hire a 60-year old defensive coach in this day and age. The last few years, you've had Nagy, McVay, Reich, Shanahan, Lynn, Pedersen and even McDermott hired on the offensive side and have some success. Shanahan's the only one that won't have a playoff appearance within 2 seasons of this group. 1 has a SB ring. Another is among the 2 favorites to get one this year. Defensively, you have Vance Joseph and Matt Patricia, who have been disasters so far. Vrabel has been mediocre and searching for an offense. Todd Bowles was hired 2015, but he's another D coach that's likely to get fired this offseason.
  6. Pretty good chance IMO, but you never know with the committee. OU wouldn't have any wins as impressive as this one and their defense is really really awful. On the other hand, Purdue and Maryland. Yeah, without having gone game by game through the schedule, I’d say OU gets the nod. The problem for OSU is Oklahoma was already four spots ahead, got a good road win this week and will have a chance at a better win than OSU next week. Even if OSU blast NW like they did Wisconsin a couple years ago and OU looks terrible and wins by 3, I’m not sure it would be enough. I know they aren't supposed to base things on this, but there's a chance to pit the 1-2 guys in the Heisman race against each other in the playoffs....they have to go OU. OU simply looks like a better team than OSU to me, defense be damned.
  7. Passed last year's point scored in the 1st Detroit game. 9 games.
  8. He broke on his pick 6 a good 8 yards away from the wr AND weaved between two other wr’s and dbs. Unbelievable. Straight up street ball. Stafford never saw him because Jackson was nowhere near the wr when he threw it. He even started to enter the box before he read the pass. Pretty much as well as I've ever seen a DB break on a ball.It was man coverage designed to look like Cover 2. Jackson was coming down to cover the TE, but he also stated post game that when that TE lined up like that (slightly flexed off the line) that he always ran to the flat. Perfect play call by Fangio. Perfect read by Jackson. Obviously a great break on the ball too. Sent from my moto e5 supra using Tapatalk
  9. I don't think they're literally the worst defense in the league in the 4th by any means. It's just a real flaw that has shown up in a lot of games. It cost them the Packers game, it cost them the Dolphins game, and it made things uncomfortably close in both games this week. It's not going to stop them from easily winning the division, but it's the biggest reason I don't think they can beat LA and/or NO. They gotta be able to run the ball better. Overall, the Bears are actually 4th in time of possession, but it's been going the other way in the current win streak, and especially bad in the 4th quarter. TOP 27 min for Bears vs. 33 min for Lions today, Lions had the ball almost 11 minutes of the 4th quarter. TOP 34.5 to 25.5 in favor of Bears on Sunday. But Vikings had the ball 8 minutes and 15 seconds of the 15 minutes in the 4th. TOP 32 to 28 minutes in favor of Lions. Lions had the ball for 10 of the final 18 minutes. TOP 34 to 26 in favor of Bills, which is significant considering it was a 41-9 win. Buffalo's TD drive was 8 minutes long in the 4th TOP 33 to 27 in favor of Bears. 4th quarter almost dead even in TOP. Jets scored their only TD in 4th. So, the Bears definitely need to control the ball better late in the game when they have the lead. But on the other hand, they've allowed 45 points 4th quarter points during this 5 game win streak, but only 3 of them came when they were NOT up by two scores. I'm sure playing prevent defense and allowing teams to make catches in front of them and protecting the sidelines have a lot to do with it. But being able to run the ball would give teams less time to score late and give the defense much needed rest.
  10. Every big play they had was due to a blatant hold at the point of attack. All Blounts runs. All passes that too more than 2.5 seconds to throw. Every single one of them. Sent from my moto e5 supra using Tapatalk

  16. Why don't they run that outside stuff to Howard? He can do it. Lot of success with no outside zone last 2 years Sent from my moto e5 supra using Tapatalk
  17. Hey Robinson, there's a football coming towards you, might wanna catch it. Sent from my moto e5 supra using Tapatalk

  20. I mean, he’s like 5 feet tall Had another half step to run under it Sent from my moto e5 supra using Tapatalk
  21. Run play Sent from my moto e5 supra using Tapatalk
  22. Every room play is an inside zone from shotgun with Howard in the single back. Everyone knows it's coming. Nagy has gotta get more creative in the run game. Sent from my moto e5 supra using Tapatalk
  23. Tarik gotta catch that. Sent from my moto e5 supra using Tapatalk
  24. Rooting for another tie. But if one of them has to win, I guess it depends on what the Bears do today. Lose, and I'd rather the Packers win. 1.5 games up on both teams with both of them almost playing sudden death football for the final 5 weeks of the season. Win, and I'd rather the Vikings win. Still 1.5 up on the Vikings and the Packers would be all but eliminated. That means maybe they sit Rodgers with his knee injury and essentially give up on the season. Or if not, the Bears would have a good chance to eliminate them in a couple weeks.
  25. Well, should be an interesting one today. It's been speculated that because this is Daniel's 4th or 5th year in the Nagy system, that the whole offense will be available today....maybe even moreso than with Trubisky, who has 10 games in the system......I don't think that will be the case from a physical standpoint. Daniel simply can't throw the ball like Mitch can. A lot of the deep stuff won't be available, which may be good or bad depending on how you feel about Mitch's deep ball ability. The key is going to be how Daniel handles the 10-15 yard throws. Trubisky has been really good in that area. Kevin White active today. With 240lb Ben Braunecker being the biggest active TE today, watch for White a lot in the run game helping to block on the edge. Good day to get Jordan Howard going. Probably going to have to soften up the defense with Daniel to get that to happen though. Defensively, you hate to ask them to step up and carry the team again on short rest.....but it's what elite defenses do. Lions don't have a ton of weapons out there. They still have a DL that isn't great and are terrible in coverage other than 1 player. They have an OL that gave up 6 sacks 11 days ago to this very defense. And it's going to be hard for Detroit to adjust offensively without their top WR and RB. I'm expecting a Bears win, but it may be ugly. I'd really like a scripted opening drive TD to have the D and backup QB playing with an early lead.
