  1. Also true
  2. Looking forward to the draft lottery. I'm really hoping we can end up with Misa.
  3. This is basically the same as the Tyson Miller pickup from last year. Same time of year, same team in Seattle. We're likely paying almost nothing for him. He works out, great. If not, meh. Jed makes moves like this throughout the year every year.
  4. Would love love love to see Bedard finish off the hat trick in the last game.
  5. If you told me this was Sean Gallagher's kid, I'd probably believe you and be forced to start drinking early today.
  6. Mo stole his second base of the year. Speedster!
  7. I'm pretty meh on it. He's definitely matured since his younger days, but that doesn't forgive his past behavior. If this core had already come into its own and established an identity, then I'd be more interested. But I'd much rather they sign Marner, trade for another definite top six player, then draft Misa, Hagens or Martone.
  8. AA is going to be more of a grunge scene for a while, I'm afraid. Not the good kind, either.
  9. Do you just not read the parts of posts you don't like? Here is the list:
  10. I said "#2 or thereabouts" or something to that effect. I stand by it. Do you still think he's a better prospect that everyone else I listed in that post? Also...Literally nobody is saying that every prospect you like is trash.
  11. I bring receipts:
  12. Sorry, you had him at #5, ahead of: Caissie Shaw Ballesteros Alcantara (whom you had #11 behind both Valdez & Gallardo, too) Ben Brown Triantos
  13. Wasn't it last year at this time that Tom had BJ Murray as the #2 prospect in the system? Or something close to that?
  14. Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player, That struts and frets his hour upon the stage, And then is heard no more. It is a tale Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing. I generally agree with you that PCA will have a big year. But spring training numbers don't "signify" anything. And I like Shakespeare.
  15. In addition to what else has been said, they did also get a former #11 overall pick in the deal as a sweetener. He hasn't had much success in the NHL so far, but he's having a really good year in Sweden. He's also still got the tools to excel. Sometimes d-men just take time to mature.
  16. Trade him to Stan.
  17. Right. League simply wouldn't approve the contract.
  18. Again, they did get a first round pick back. Even if they had kept the pick for 2025, it would have gone to SAS next year. Now it doesn't. So consider it that they got a 2026 first rounder if you want. But they did get a pick.
  19. Yeah, given the contract he got I think that says the industry thinks his back is toast.
  20. Even if the Bulls had kept the pick this year, it would have gone to SAS next year, right? So they are getting a first round pick in the deal.
  21. Somebody there had to mess around with someone else's wife, right? Something on that level must have happened.
  22. Adding Berti + Pressly would put the 40 man at a 42 man. I'm guessing they're working hard to fill a role through an asset consolidation trade.
  23. If you like hockey, Tab is a good read. But other than that...
