Saying it as "first two years" eliminates everyone who got a mid- to late-year callup to begin their careers. Still damned impressive, though.

    It's in question what even counts as stuff, that solely seems to mean velocity from my understanding of your opinions, when you think Jen Ho Tseng is clearly better. Not to mention you greatly exaggerate Kellogg's stuff to fit your narrative in the first place. He never said Tseng's stuff was better (that I recall). He brought up Tseng as someone who did better than Kellogg at the same level (at a much younger age) as reason to prefer him as a prospect.

    I need to take the time this weekend to update the prospect ranking page. I was going to wait until the minor league seasons were completely over, but it might as well be done now. Can we start making a list of who needs to come off the list and who needs to get added? Players to come off: Contreras Almora Vogelbach Torres McKinney Edwards Players to add: Hatch Miller Clark Mekkes Manuel Rondon That was off the top of my head, so please add to the list.

    we'll never know, but so far, that move has netted them zero playoff series wins I thought it was dumb to shut him down completely like they did, as opposed to moving him to the bullpen a month before the shutdown to limit his innings (and then having him in the bullpen for the playoffs) or limiting his innings earlier in the season so that he would be available in October. Or simply skipping some starts in June/July/August. Limiting his workload was the right call, just seems they could have planned it better. Completely shutting down your best pitcher going into the playoffs in hopes that he might be available if you happen to make the playoffs again in the future seems like a move that's very rarely ever going to pan out in your favor. This. See what Toronto is doing to manage Aaron Sanchez this year as a good example of what I'd have done with Strasburg that year.

    lol - hitting the booze early on a Friday? I'm jealous. 3 out of 4 aint too bad. Still surprised Candyman wasn't called up. If I had guessed Tim F over adding a Lefty arm in the pen for sept then I could see you thinking I was boozing. Apparently Theo was and wanted to win a bet about calling up Tim to get another player with a Z on the roster. I was joking about all those underlined names being spelled incorrectly.
