  1. Giddy, Coby, Matas, Ayo, Tre makes 5 stars, plus depth, plus future star Noa Essengue.
  2. After not getting Bears action for what felt like a month, I'm ready for this game right now. Last night was fun, and not just because I decided to get randomly drunk for it. Happy Win with a Hangover Tuesday!
  3. After this weekend I needed this. Getting hosed all night but managed to find a way to get it done. My confidence in Caleb and Ben Johnson is growing by leaps and bounds. We have a coach AND a quarterback.
  4. I expect a typically sleepy offseason. Unfortunately I think making Game 5 of the Division series will be the high-water mark for the Cubs for a while. We won't be replacing Tucker and the production and lineup protection he offered in the first half. Sad offense plus pretty good pitching will be enough to pursue a wild card spot in this division. Not expecting much more than some changes on the fringes and Shota's option being picked up.
  5. I have no idea what Craig is going to do. But it feels like we've got some mojo back so that is great. But I'm glad our Game 5 isn't until tomorrow night and I can enjoy the other Game 5 tonight without any jitters. Amazing night of ball last night. Wrigley rocking and that unfortunate ending in LA. Was hoping that series would go to Game 5 as well.
  6. Last night was fun, the crowd bullied FREDDY into giving up that home run from Happ. Wrigley is simply the best. All hands on deck, LETS horsefeathers GOOOOOOO!
  7. I wonder what a Nico extension would look like. He's had a great year and I think his contract is up after next year.
  8. Nothing new here, I'm just mad about the Boyd decision for Game 1, which begat Shota for Game 2. They clearly should have been saving Shota for Wrigley, the lakeside wind is the only thing possible that can keep the great Andrew Vaughn at bay. Most annoying successful season ever, it's been like a root canal since the ASB. I hope Tucker likes NY (I'm pretty much fine not breaking the bank for him, I think this being the Cubs it would end up being a huge disaster).
  9. Cubs/Phillies NLCS would go so hard. Would definitely be shitting my pants every time Schwarber is at the plate.
  10. Was it when the Bulls won one game against the Bucks in an otherwise horsefeathers pumping? Real awful stretch for us, going to enjoy this.
  11. He's got 29 this year, big homey. Want that 30/30/30 for him.
  12. Happy to be wrong, go Bears!
  13. Dallas is going to score 1,000 points against this defense. Eberflus will get to walk off the field a winner. PUKE
  14. Honestly it's why whenever I drink I try to start as early as possible. Sunday Funday can be possible if you cut yourself off before 6.
  15. What an absolutely depressing start to the BJ era. Caleb just ain't it, some comically inaccurate passes; I think I'd rather have Justin Fields back (rooting for him). Bad OL, vanilla playcalling. Could have been a Trestman or Eberflus team if I hadn't know who was on the sidelines. Ryan Poles is TERRIBLE at his job, particularly at evaluating offensive linemen. Time to detach any hope or potential excitement from this unit.
  16. I'm still pissed that Craig sat both Shaw and Cassie yesterday. I feel like the division is out of reach at 7 games; if it was 5 I'd say we still would have a shot. Malpractice not to throw everything you had in the final matchup with the Brewers. Craig even said that loss stung. No horsefeathers horsefeathers!
  17. Co-nervous. It just seems like the buzz is still bad around him. Although I will say there were things I saw last year I liked, and he put up solid stats for a dysfunctional team. I think maybe he is a Baker Mayfield type, who has moxie but needs to be schemed into success. We'll see.
  18. Such a big deal to be down only 1 game vs. 3. Huge win today.
  19. I love this pick. He and Matas can be an absolutely wrecking crew of defensive dobermans. Too bad AKME always double down on their mistakes (Pat Will, Vuc). This team won't be great but they'll be fun to watch. Hopefully they add some shooting and maybe a star falls into their lap.
  20. I missed that when it happened but damn is that depressing. Do we think the (maybe not so) little injuries adding up is what killed his love for the game? I guess it's also kind of weird that Rizzo is apparently retired now. I'll forever be grateful for 2016.
  21. You may have me beat in tvs but I also have that Bears blanket!
