  1. Ekwerekwu is my boy. He's one of my favorite players. I'm so glad he's back next year.
  2. Hey the sideline is right there, but why would I run out of bounds when I can run out the clock down by 4?
  3. Yeah I agree, the prevent defense is one of the worst things in football, besides the naked screen and a team who never uses the I-Formation (oh hey Mizzou does both of those :-\)
  4. The game's not on TV, is it? No I'm getting updates on Yahoo.com. It's really slow, but it gets the job done.
  5. Brad Smith runs it in from 1 yard out with 2 seconds left in the half. 21-14 Mizzou!
  6. Great game at Texas Tech! TT down 4 with under a minute to go on fourth down, Hodges throws a pass that gets batted at the line, ends up in OU's hands and a TT wide receiver takes it out of his hands and gets the first down. They drive downfield, on the 3 yard line with 4 seconds left, TT opts to RUN the football, the running back gets stopped, but falls on his own players leg and stretches the ball over the line. TT wins 23-21.
  7. Woo Brad Smith to Chase Coffman for 35 yards and a touchdown! 14-14
  8. Mizzou is playing terrible. Down 14-7 and gave up over 100 yards rushing in the first quarter, with already 6 penalties for 45 yards. Ridiculous.
  9. No one started one yet, so I figured I'd go ahead. Huge game for the Bears. A win should finally shut everyone up about the NFC North and prove that the Bears can play with the big dogs of the NFC. Good to have TJ back this week as well. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=pasquarelli_len&id=2227157
  10. Ouch. What happened to Mr. Quin? :P That's Mr. Snyder to you. What a frustrating performance. But without an effective inside player (Keving Young < Nick Smith), I have a feeling that most of our games this season will be disappointing.
  11. Lost a bet. Actually my grandma made me one at a very young age, despite my father's attempts to make me a Dodgers fan.
  12. I have a feeling we need to win out to make a bowl game, but personally I hope we win just so Brad can go out at Faurot with a W. He's done so much for this organization that to me a last W at home for Brad Smith is more important than a subpar bowl game. However if we win, next week I'll be singing a different tune.
  13. Woo Robbie Gould pics!
  14. well I guess it couldve ended up a lot worse, nice drive by Orton to get some points on the board.
  15. My least favorite player for the past few seasons has been AJ Pierzynski. Other than that, Jim Edmonds, Joe Crede, Roger Clemens, and Corey Patterson (sorry, I havent liked him since day 1, Cub or not)
  16. Terrible call in the Florida-Vandy game...good think they still made the PAT, but cost them a chance at 2.
  17. Mizzou is killing themselves again, just like last week. A bowl game keeps slipping further and further away from us...
  18. Here at Mizzou, we've come to the conclusion that kU is not worthy of capitalization. I think you guys just don't understand the rules. Hahah, well I have nothing to compare with the disappointed Truman (he spoke for all of us), so all I have is a lowercase "k" ;-)
  19. Yes. The goal in my life is to irritate Jayhawk fans through text.
  20. Mizzou is facing another top 5 ranked rush defense -- their third in three weeks. Let's hope it is like the Nebraska game. If it turns out like the Kansas game, lets hope Pinkel actually adjusts. I want to see more Woods/Temple in the backfield and more use of the TEs in the passing game. This is one of the biggest games in Mizzou history IMHO. Fortunately they aren't as stingy in the passing game as kU and Nebraska are. Smith needs to be accurate for us to win. We aren't winning in Boulder with him completing 33% or whatever pathetic percentage it was against kU. His problem all year has been overthrowing deep balls. Hopefully the air out there helps, or something. This is definitely the defining game of the season. Yeah, but the receivers need to complete routes too. I was at kU last weekend (I don't know if you were or not), and there were two times that WRs stopped on a deep ball that was catchable. Once would've put us inside the 20, another would've been a touchdown. We need to come out as pumped as we did against NU, Boulder isn't an easy place to play.

  22. Apologies. No need to apologize, we were outcoached and outplayed today. I just wish I wouldn't have spent 5 hours in a car and over $50 to go to Lawrence and watch this disappointment. Look on the bright side, you got to enjoy a beautiful day in Lawrence at Memorial Stadium. My drive here from home is 8 hours, and I guarantee you the out-of-state tuition I pay to go here is more than $50, so if you look at it that way, you got a discount. Haha well I'm in the same boat -- I'm paying out of state tuition to go to Mizzou, haha.

  24. Good luck sir.
  25. Dammit Mizzou...what a terrible game you guys played. kU has our number. If you would've told us we would've forced 3 turnovers and given up just 13 points, I would've asked where is the bookie. Pinkel was outcoached again. It seems to me as if the kU game means nothing to Pinkel and his staff. This game is so important every year because it either makes or breaks us. Next week is a huge game, if we beat Colorado...all is well for us. If not, making a bowl game is going to be very hard.
