  1. well we better keep him around then, see if he does anything this year. hes working on his swing in Arizona ya know.
  2. Don't rip it from the wall, but still set it on fire. Wow, don't know if I ever noticed you're at Mizzou. You live on campus? Yeah, im in cramer. where you live? wow, more and more Mizzou people here.
  3. They have an excellent run defense, and their D is very similar to Nebraska's. That being said, we should win by at least two scores. I'd also LOVE a KSU upset over Colorado, but regardless we still have to beat Colorado next weekend. BUT, Kansas first.
  4. Whoever wins the Big 12 can hopefully pull some sort of miracle out and beat Texas. That team needs to lose. I just don't see it happening. Raisin- Who else does UCLA play that could be a problem (besides USC). Is it pretty likely they will both be undefeated come time for their game? I don't see it happening either...we played Texas already and they stomped us. We held it close for the first half and we could've even had a 21-0 lead after the first quarter, but turnovers and missed opportunities kept them in the game and they eventually took over.
  5. Excellent, Mizzou is finally getting some votes. Wins at Kansas and at Colorado the next two weeks could get us in the Top 25 (and all but secure a Big 12 North title)
  6. Down come the goalposts! 41 - 24 Brad Smith with nearly 500 yards of offense! Defense shuts out Nebraska in the second half, Taylor picked twice, and sacked who knows how many times. Mizzou still in the lead in the B12 north, all alone if KU beats Colorado tonight. Did they come down?! Surely not. If so, I'm gonna have to head downtown right away and find the guy who's sawing them apart! That was amazing. The PA in 3rd floor in the dorm I'm in got a huge piece thats like over a foot long because it just fell on the ground and he picked it up. That was hands down one of the top 10 greatest experiences in my life. One of the many things I wanted to do here at MU is crossed off the list (however, I'd love to do it many more times, hahah)
  7. The National League. Preferably the Astros, since I am now living in Cardinal Territory :-\
  8. Huge game for Mizzou. A win here puts them 1 win away from qualifying for a bowl game with four games left and three on the road. Plus it'll bring the tie of the North down to two teams. (I'm assuming Colorado is going to beat Kansas -- the worst offense ever.)
  9. Yes, it bothers me a lot. He should be on the field 90% of the time at least. Personally, I'd love it if Smith went under center from time to time with Coffman lead blocking at fullback for Woods or Temple.
  10. Not only that, but they're in a 3 way tie for the Big 12 North lead, with a game against one of those teams(Nebraska) at home next week. If Mizzou can get a big win and KU pulls an upset we'll find ourselves all alone atop the north. Man, this is just a recipe for disappointment isn't it, haha. What do you think? Is there a quarterback controversy in Columbia right now? No way. There's not a chance in hell that a freshman will come in and take Senor Smith's job. I don't care how good of a job Chase did - if Bd. Smith is healthy, he's our guy. And he should be. It's so on next week. I can't wait. I agree completely. If Smith is healthy you have to put him out there, however, if Smith is struggling again, I hope Pinkel has the sense to put Daniel in. Next week is the game of the year. If we pull out a win, we only need 2 wins in our last 4 games (@ KU, @ CU, vs. BU, @ KSU) to qualify for a bowl game, if we lose, we need 3 of those 4. The North is definitely ours for the taking.

  12. What a game in Columbia. Mizzou puts up a quick 14 off two defensive touchdowns early. Iowa State answers back with 24 straight points. Down 10 with under 7 minutes to go, starting senior quarterback Brad Smith leaves with an injury. True freshman Chase Daniel comes in and leads the offense downfield for a FG with 5:05 left to make it 24-17. Defense gets a big stop with just under 3 minutes to go. Chase Daniel runs the 2 minute drill to perfection, throwing a touchdown pass to Sean Coffey with 20 minutes to go to force OT. Defense out there first, have their best defensive stand of the year, forcing 3 and done and a missed FG, offense gets a first down, centers it, kicks the GW. Unbelievable game. Just like that, Mizzou is only 3 wins away from a bowl game.
  13. I never thought I'd say this ever...but...Go Irish :-\ I hate ND more than USC, but I'm so tired of hearing about them, and I want a new Champion this year...so...Go Irish...
  14. Big week for Missouri vs. Iowa State. Two conference wins in a row could do wonders for this team's morale and for their position in the Big 12 North.
  15. another fumble? ridiculous how many TOs left?
  16. How long can this team play keep away with the Browns before they take the lead?
  17. In other game news, Jarrett Payton just scored his first career TD, good for him.
  18. gahhhh i come back from a flag football game and this is not what i expected. and the team in my 3 strikes pool is the Bucs over Jets...and somehow the Jets are winning. and the Packers are gonna get #1
  19. Nice job by the D to hold them to 3 after starting in the RZ
  20. Yeah, we've only gotten one game here in MO, stupid Rams/Chiefs. Did we just get burned deep by Dilfer-Shea? Edit: And Peanut picks it off inside the redzone!
  21. I thoroughly enjoy your picture. I'll be honest, I'm expecting at least a 21-point victory from the Bears today. The Browns are no better than the Lions, so I'm expecting a big day.
  22. It's a shame some people don't realize he's just a college kid playing a game.
